Saw this posted elsewhere and it worked for me.

Go to https://www.google.com/chromebook/perks/ and verify if you are eligible for for this offer.

Follow directions and get 3 months free. Disney recently took away even the 7 day free so a nice win to trial it for a longer period.

Instructions on how to redeem are wrong. Don't enter your code in app but rather the play store redeem section. Furthermore this app my not be available unless you are on the dev channel and find it through the new "explore" app. After doing this you need to be on the right build of chrome to even download the app which apparently the latest stable is not lol.

Way too much for a free sub that I won't even use.

Thanks OP! Was going to borrow a family account, but now I don't have to for at least 3 months.

Once you use your Chromebook to verify that you own one on the Perks page, it gives you a code. From there, you don't have to use the Chromebook anymore (mine doesn't even have Google Play). I took my code and redeemed it in the Google Play app on my phone, installed Disney+, signed up for an account, and I had 3 free months. Took no more than a minute or two to do.

I could not think of a more useless comment. Perhaps a vegetarian complaining (incorrectly) about the complicated steps to get free meat since they won't even eat it?

Can you make more than one code per Chromebook?

If so, could someone throw one my way? Thanks.

Hi!

Did you have any luck getting a spare Chromebook code?

..... I suspect there's an app to download on "your" Chromebook that will unlock the free Sub ... no legit Chromebook? No 6 mos green sub (?)

Thoughts??

Thanks 😊

Thanks! And thanks OP! Worked flawlessly for me. I had previously done a 7-day trial through Amazon fire stick (luckily I use a different email through Amazon) so I could watch the Mandalorian. At the time there wasn't enough content to warrant subscribing on top of Netflix/youtube TV/prime and I doubt there still is, but now I'll have plenty of time to find out. And my kids, especially in these times, really appreciate having more viewing choices.
Btw, anyone know if they have a turn-off auto renewal while keeping free trial until the end like it did through Amazon?

Lastly, I wish there was a chromebook perks notification settings. Luckily I'm a cheapskate and frequent SD Smilie Btw, this offer ends in a few days, on 8/1.
