It has an awesome 1 player mode. I only play one player. Hack n slash withbalot of upgrades and each class plays differently.

I got the physical version of this on Xbox One X to play couch coop with my daughter.

I really tried to like it, but I dont understand the appeal.

When enemies appear, mash the buttons until they die. Repeat.

Top-down action RPGs don't have to have boring combat. For example there is very nuanced, skill-based combat in Alienation, Helldivers, and How to Survive 2.

But instead, Blizzard chose to focus on lightshows instead. Never understood why.

I'm in the exact same boat. I have the Diablo III: Ultimate Evil disc. I don't play enough to justify rebuying the whole game though.

Yeah they lost the strategy from the days of diablo 2. I agree with grampyjoe the game wasn't fun or challenging. End game was lackluster as well.

Spam to clear the screen, grind grind pickup loot spam grind spam yawn. platinum was boring to get.

I have been watching this closely and I dont recall ever seeing/hearing the necro dlc being on sale.

Agreed. Even when the Necro class came out it shouldn't have been $15 while the base game with 6 classes and was routinely selling for $15 at the time. Heck, I think even the Ultimate Evil package was going on sale for a similar price. It didn't have to be free, but it just felt like the opposite of a good faith gesture to the fans.
