Can anyone confirm the discounts applies for existing customers based on their original start date? Also, what of the family plan additional line discounts?

Answering one of my own questions... from the FAQ - New smartphone lines and existing smartphone lines that switch to a new plan will receive multi-tier Loyalty Discounts instead of a multi-line discount.

If their prepaid anything like Visible I would prefer stay $25 all unlimited in a party pay😏 which also includes hotspot. Here just to get to additional discounts you have to stay 3 and then 9 months, for already $200 from visible in 7 weeks as well for new SE something that if Verizon would to offer it would come as 24months credit most likely.

So I have had 3 lines x 3GB plan for $85 for more than 9 months. If I change the plan to 3 x 5GB plan, would it be $75?
(Update) I just talked to agent and was able to get this offer. 3 lines 5GB each for $75. And I was told that you would have 30 days to go back to old plan if you would want to. FYI.

Answering my second question... from playing around with a line that's about to expire (and has been there longer than 9 months) - the website suggests the original activation date is used to calculate discounts. So, it seems existing accounts can change plans and immediately receive the loyalty discounts. Though worth mentioning, it looks like the auto-pay discount would not apply until the second month - "Auto Pay discount - Auto Pay discount of $5/mo available after 1st month for all plans. Credit or debit card required."

Math checks. See post #7 - seem original activation date is used for loyalty discount.

So you do lose double data if you switch to this right? Still might be cheaper.

Right now with 2 lines I pay $30 each for 6GB.

And I wonder what happens to your current prepaid month of service when you switch? (i.e. have to wait until end of billing cycle to switch or risk losing part of your current prepaid month?)

As far as the $5/mth AutoPay not kicking in until second month, it's always been like that for new customers. But probably for existing customers, it just continues on without delay if you're already signed up for AutoPay.

Verizon Prepaid has international data add-ons that Visible doesn't and dedicated customer service (in-store and online).

I've had the prepaid plan for years. I updated my plan. I went from 3 GB to 5 GB a month, and it automatically gave me credit for all my years so now I'm down to $25 a month plus tax.

Here's what I see online as an existing customer, so can confirm they go by original activation date. It's still unknown though whether you lose current month's prepaid charge if you switch mid-month.
