Not sure if this is such a great deal. It's like buying these cheap or free after rebate inkjet printers. They make money on the ink or in this case the coffee pods.

Basically your paying full price for the machine or more and you get coffee credits for the amount you pay for the machine... Sad...

This isn't half bad. Especially if your in the market for the higher-end machines. The cancellation fees almost make it work signing up an cancelling right away to get the machines for cheap. The $450 Creatista Plus would be about $250 and include $50 worth of coffee. There is a key statement in the cancellation agreement however: " You agree to pay reasonable costs of collection and attorney's fees as may be necessary."

The way I read it, you get all the money you pay in coffee credit and the machine for free after one year. i.e. the $50 / month plan gets you $600 in coffee credits after one year and the machine is free. Take a second look.

But you could get those machines on sale for a comparable price without going through this rigmarole.

Only benefit i can think of is that you're not left in the lurch when your machine starts leaking after the warranty expires, like has happened to most Nespresso machines that I've owned.

I don't believe the Creatista Plus has ever been at $200 or close has it?

Not sure I follow how this works. So if I'm already spending $35 per month on nespresso pods, am I basically getting the Citiz machine and frother for $1?

Last year I had to return mine as the steamer stopped working. Nespresso decided to send me two of the same machines. This was a great deal.

no not even close to it. I have the Creatista uno and the lowest that's been is $200. The plus has never been that low. Granted the difference between the uno and the plus is just the way it looks to be quite honest. It's also digital but folks that's used both preferred the uno over the plus, but that's neither here or there.

Personally this is pretty slick if you buy your coffee from nespresso anyways. But since this is slickdeals I highly doubt anyone actually does that vs waiting around for peets coffee during amazon warehouse deals.

The Citiz sub is $35/mo, so if you are already spending $35 a month on pods the machine plus milk frother costs $1 ☺

I have no luck with Nespresso machines. Do you recommend any cleaning chemical that works?
