Costco Members- $150 off of a set of Bridgestone Tires
Costco is giving an instant discount of $149.92 ($70 discount of the tires and 1 cent installation for each tire) off the purchase of a set of 4 Bridgestone tires and installation. Deal valid from June 24 - July 4, 2020.

Yes. The installation cost is offset by the $149.92 discount. The discount breakdown is $70 discount for the tires and $79.92 discount for the installation (4x $19.98). The installation cost after the discount is 1 penny per tire. The pricing must show the installation to show the installation discount.
The same deal is in store and the stores have the ability to order tires that are not available online. My store was able to get Bridgestone Portenza RE980 all season tires in 225 45/17 for $132 each. These tires did not even appear on line. I have them on another car and I love them.

Not sure, but more likely than not, Costco will add the installation cost when you go to the store. Even if you get the tires w/o getting them installed there, you will still have to pay for installation somewhere. And Costco's installation and warranty are better than most.
I called my local Discount tire and they indicated that they would match the price.
I don't know if anyone can say that it never happens. But I would have to believe it's not that common. It always a good idea to check the tire date codes to make sure that it doesn't happen. The last tires that I bought from Costco were only a few months old.
