Started my research and found out that COLOR E INK exists... right now only in China with a China brand (no english at all or I would have bought it).
Basically color E ink is around the corner... I plan on waiting and yes it will be MUCH more expense... I expect it to be around $250 (the chinese one sells for $211).

I must be missing something cause that is the video that wowed me.
I am reading alot of graphic novels and comics (7 year old)... and color would go along way.
Maybe I will just bit the bullet and get an onxy.. I just know my daughter will insist on using her 10" fire he rather then this... I will put off any purchases for many months to come and see what the color e readers will have in the future.
There is a company called Onyx... They do Android os e-readers... They have one called the Onyx poke 2... Fastest 6" e-reader to date.... It's $190.00.
Then they have the box 2... Same os as the poke 2 but also does notes and is 7.8". They run Android 9. Sooooon it will be in color. I expect a 400 price. But to me it may be worth it... Will last for many years and the customization, functionality does not compare.... This to me, excited me.
Is this really a deal? It's only four GB. I thought these kindles were cheaper than this. I'm not even sure this is a deal for student, is it?
As a e-reader... It fine. But is it to small? I really would want the better resolution. The sweet spot according to many is 7.8".... Better for magazines, graphic novels (some say 10" is best for these).
But if all u r going to do is read books in bed... 6"is lighter (the main advantage), 6" should be fine... Small enough to fit in your pocket. Some people don't like turning the page so much and others swear by the small footprint.
As per my last post, IMHO the Onyx poke 2 is the best. Between me and my friends... We have compiled thousands of ebooks, comics and graphic novels... I personally will not use the Kindle store much... If at all. I am looking for a ereader that can read every format... Hence Onyx. But with a PC... U can convert file formates so even if the Kindle does not support it... It can be converted so the Kindle will play the file.
Don't get me wrong this is a good deal for a cheap e-reader and Amazon losses Mony on each purchase but makes it up from there Evo system.
