Just my gut feel:
Acer = Mitsubishi
MSI, HP, Dell = Toyota
Razer, Alienware = BMW

"And Razer Blade normally costs a tad higher than the similarly configured laptops from other brands."
also a lot of reviews claim it's a 60hz monitor and not 144hz
If you want 10th gen CPUs + 2060/2070 gpus in this form factor (15in, metal, thin and light for a 15in), be prepared to spend closer to 2k.
some data points to consider:
10th gen i7 and the 2060 costs $700 extra https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086MGY...9EbBX
if you just want the GPU upgrade, it costs $500 extra https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086MGY...9EbDY
looking at these prices alone, the $1100 price is a steal (or the gtx 2600 upgrade is kinda pricey)
