POWERFUL YET QUIET: 900 CFM range hood with backlit touchscreen, remote control, 4-speed fan, twin centrifugal motors. Quickly ventilate your kitchen without the noise of competing range hoods"
and
"500 CFM motor is efficient yet quiet at 65 decibels max"
"Our under cabinet range hood features a 500 CFM motor with premium stainless steel baffle filters to trap grease and oil."
"500 CFM motor with Arc-Flow permanent stainless steel filters to trap grease and oil"
Installing it was a pain in the butt because it was very awkward weight. I don't know how much this varies hood from hood but I had to use a hydraulic bottle jack to lift it into place in order to get it to mount. It comes with a template for screws but I found it wasnt that helpful.
For the money though I don't see how this is beat. Typically you'll get like 200-300 cfm ones that look incredibly simplistic that use disposable filters that you have to keep rebuying for the price. If the issues I mention mean nothing to you then this is probably for you.

I think the "900" was a misprint. In several places on the manufactures picture description, it says the capacity is 500 CFM. So, I would go with that. 500 CFM is incredible. Might suck out all the climate-controlled air in your house. Luckily, it has 4 speeds.
It definitely does suck.
Usually about 500cfm is ok. but if you doing high temp stir frying etc, you may want to consider a more professional larger one.
DaaAaaaAAaaaAAAaadd get off the internet!

Hi, could you please explain make-up air? Is that when one O molecule says he is sorry to the other O molecule? Ok, bad attempt at joke.. but seriously, what is make-up air?

I think he meant it may move the dirtier air from you crawlspace up into the house. I would just let a window open.
It's the suckcut. It sucks, as it cuts!
