    I tried to order a Dewalt oscillating tool from sites like this that sounded "too good to be true". Normally $100 but selling for like $35. I figured if it worked it would be a great deal and if not, and I lost my money, it wouldn't be too big of a loss.

    Yeah... it didn't work.

    If you buy on credit card you can dispute the charge and get a refund... but if a site is going to do that do you, then they probably got your credit card number or something too. Even if you pay through paypal or something it can still be a fight to get your money back.

    In this case if it sounds too good and you're unsure.... stay away
