Just a heads up to anyone, this isn't necessarily a "deal" but these have just been released and have been awaited for a while

If anyone wants any kind of benchmarks or comparisons/further information, the youtube account NASCompares did a breakdown of almost all of these https://www.youtube.com/channel/U...hIpGXnXx2g
Lot of good information.
Planning on getting probably a 220+ myself

Don't trust this company.
We used many different models of their hardware in enterprise environments and they frequently fail catastrophically.
There are regularly updates that completely brick units.
They once used a CPU with a defined lifespan and the units went dead after a few months.
There have been multiple times these have woken up from sleep and all files were gone.
Their support is also just as bad as their product.
yawwwwn. I own Synology DS211j, and a DS418j. Thats over 12 years of ownership and never had an issue. Im ready for a DS920+ or 918+. Thank you have a nice day.

"There have been multiple times these have woken up from sleep and all files were gone."

And yet your company kept using them? Either you're full of bunk or a complete idiot that works for idiots. Which is it?

Never had an issue. They provide great service - had them look at my 4 year old NAS cause I messed up the admin privs. No question about when I bought it - they just supported me through an 800 number (spoke to someone in Seattle). That alone is reason enough to use them.

Just registered, and their first post is trashing Synology. DimSink370 must be working for a competitor...

You good with QNAP or another company?
