How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

T-Force is telling me to add a line, add IPhone 11 all using online system. They said ignore the $20 month they system will state. All promotions should get activated automatically as long as I trade and port. Weird thing is the port a line is after paying.

Anyone go through the portal? Trying to avoid the $20 fee but not sure if it worth the hassle if promos don't get applied correctly.

How long does it take to show the new phone on the account? I added a line online yesterday and got iPhone SE. I received confirmation of my EIP with order number, but that seems to be about it (no updates). Hoping something didn't go wrong on the back-end since they are getting slammed.

Rep is telling my hubby that data for the third line is $15/mo additional???
Does your plan have free unlimited data on all lines? Then should be the same. What plan code do you have? If you do a search in this thread, a few other people had the same issue and they got it fixed to get free data as other lines on the plan by a T-Mobile rep.

Such a great deal. I am getting a ported number, turning in an iPhone 7 (not much value) and getting an iPhone 11 with 128gb for $750 - $500 turn in value = $500. I get the free line with my Magenta account as well (I currently have 3 lines...the free one will be my 4th)..

With all that said, all of the paperwork shows that I will owe $25 for the new line and it shows that I owe $750 for the iPhone to be paid out over 24 months. All of that makes me NERVOUS, but my rep said that it is done that way in case I don't send in the iPhone 7. He repeated back to me what my monthly payment would be when this was all done and with the new phone and the new line, it is $10+ change over what I am currently paying (it is the $10.25 or so monthly installment payment).

So, it seems like it is all a go. I just wish that all of this was showing up on my account where I can see it and not just 'trusting' T Mobile. But I have always had good experience with them, so fingers crossed.

Say you had 8 line and wanted to cancel one. Would this disqualify you from being able to get a free line same day?

I called 611 and got a representative within a minute of telling the IVR.

I have Simple Choice Unlimited Promotion plan from 5 years ago, 2 lines for $100 with unlimited data and 7GB hotspot. I also had "$80 Friends & Fam 2 Lines On Us (Additional Lines)" from several years ago where I got 2 lines free for paying for 2, so I have total of 4 lines for $100.

The rep confirmed that I qualified since I had 2 paid lines. So he added a fifth line for me. I already had spare phone and SIM card at home, so just gave him the SIM number. He assigned a phone number to it, I popped it into phone and was working within minutes.

In my T-Mobile account, I saw the new number show up immediately and no change to my monthly cost of $100. So I'll end up just paying under $4 /month on taxes for this 5th line.

Go on the iPhone 11 page

https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...0199219991

there is a banner

See how to get one ON US when you switch & trade in an eligible device.
I am not seeing it on any browser even in icognito mode. May be a targeted offer. Showing me iPhone XS 50% off when adding a line [but damn they are still charging $999 for that FrownFrownFrown]

I have a Sc similar plan, two people said I only qualify for the SE promo as the Terms and conditions show any plan qualifies, but that the ca is only for magnets type plans, they even sent me the link to show sc doesn't qualify.
"There are two promo offers you can get setup at this time. Since you added a new line of service you can get $350 off an iPhone XS or the XS Max

The second promo would be you can get 50% off a new iPhone SE."

This is what I got from chat.

Tried to take advantage of the iPhone 11 promo but the rep said I'd have to change my plan to one of the eligible ones. Currently on Simple Choice, NAFUTT4. Not worth it for me to switch to another plan. Might try again later with another rep.
I had same experience. I have simple choice plan with 10 existing lines and the rep initially told that I am eligible for the offer and i also confirmed that my existing plan will be untouched. Towards the end when the rep was processing, came back and told me that i will need to upgrade to magenta plan. I said no.

Just a recap since I'm drunk and have nothing better to do:

1. If you've cancelled a line in the past 90 days, you are SOL
2. If you want to port in a number from another T-Mo account, you are SOL for one-year.
3. This promo does not affect and promo or discount on your account/plan, with respect to lines and phones. I have the 20% hookup/insider discount as well as an existing free line promo and 3 phones that are free after bill credits. Nothing was changed after the addition of the line.
4. Magenta and One Plus plans are eligible. Simple Choice is more nuanced.
5.DELETED. This method no longer works. Use GV.
5. Here is a snapshot of my current plan with discounts, including the 2020 line on us (which is the current promo):

Snapshot [imgur.com]
how certain are you on #1 (1. If you've cancelled a line in the past 90 days, you are SOL)?

So maybe I am missing something, apart from getting free line, are there any other benefits to this promo? I am on grandfathered plan with 3 lines, do I qualify or not?
Apart from the free line is the stress of waiting to see if the line is actually discounted, compulsive T-mobile account and reddit/slickdeals checking, and either the thrill of getting a free line you probably don't need or stress of talking with 12 different levels of supervisors to get your old plan & features restored. I love me a slickdeal and knows that deals take work, but T-mobile deals can be stressful because it's a lot of waiting and finger crossing things work out.

Call T-Mobile and ask for your plan code (aka SOC) and there is a link in this thread what will tell you if your plan is eligible or not.
