How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I still see a lot of people wondering if their plan will work and thinking it will work because others said it has worked. When this deal initially started, the details were pretty vague and basically everyone thought all you needed was 2 active voice lines (paid) and you would get the 3rd line free regardless the plan. When the deal launched, reps were not fully prepared most didn't even know about the promo and those that did, did not know which plans were eligible so they just created lines for people (there's no promo code they add to give the promotion, the promotion is systematically/automatically added that's why you can even add a line yourself on my-tmobile and if you are eligible you will get it for free without having to call in). A day later we got a list of eligible plans directly from a T-mobile employee see here:
https://imgur.com/uLwq0iF

At this point if your plan is not on this list, you will NOT get the promo despite what an agent told you or you thought you read here. A lot of the plans are very similar and can differ by just 1 letter so it's very easy to get them confused. I personally was guaranteed multiple times that I would get the free promo and waited 24+ hours and did not receive the promo activation text and it did not show on my-tmobile under account. If you do not get these indicators you most likely are not eligible. The only other reason I can see causing a delay for others is if they did not have a SIM at the time of adding the line then it may take longer to show up. I did have a SIM on hand and still didn't get that confirmation that the promo was added. Also OP added a lot of helpful tips/feedbacks to the Wiki if you do not know your plan code, check the Wiki for instructions on how to get it and then check the master list of eligible plans. It's that simple now where before it was literally a cluster F. Hope this helps
What's the sure shot way of making sure line is free with data and phone is 50%off? Can you confirm from the account online?

the rep will just ask for the phone number account number and pin for the information needed for the number to be ported.
Thanks! The CS on the chat screwed up my husband's account, currently saying it has been canceled O.O He was only asking questions, not actively making a change as we were trying to figure out the best way to get the free line and possibly trade in a phone for an i11. He is p'od at me and them! SD spouse effect! I think we need to go in-store to sort this out. Wish us luck!

Speaking from the line side, you will see under account and your plan "2020 Line on Us" like this: https://imgur.com/a/8UDTzJ6 you will also get a text message confirmation sent. I'm not sure about the 50% off phone portion.

I tried to read through all 190 pages of posts. Got a headache and decided to call. I was eligible even though I have 9 lines. Got the free line and got an iPhone 11 Pro Max for $500 off for trading in my iPhone 7+ and porting in a line. I'm going to buy a number on eBay to port in for around $5 bucks. Thanks for the individual for posting this idea. I can't remember where I read it. Took about 15 mins and the rep was very helpful and knew about this plan. I hope this helps somebody else! Thanks OP another free line on my account. I Love tmobile!
Did you do this online? Did you avoid the $20 service charge?

Yes someone pointed it out the one eligible has the L at the end in the soc code. That's why I haven't done anything yet.
Not necessarily. Mine is FRLTULFM9

I have T-Mobile one included taxes with one Plus Promo, $10/Line kickbacks, 20%hookup.
10 voice lines, 3 tablet lines =$182 total per month

If I add this line will be 11 voices

I got a call from T-Mobile twice today. I was told there's no way to add free line to $100 Tmobile One 3 line plan (plus, with 20%, kickbacks, hotspot, hd video, plane wifi etc)

So they are reverting everything back to what it was. I suspected this was going to be the case as I was told before many times there's no way to make any changes to this 2+1 line plan. I was also told there's no way to add Netflix to this plan, but I forgot to ask this rep if they could do it somehow.

If anyone in the same boat, reverting back to $80 3 line One plan, check if you can add Netflix for all the hassle and if it works, please PM me so that I try to get it too.

P.S. I asked if I could keep the phone at 50% without a new line, they said no. I'm not too upset over that, tmobile phone at half price is not really a deal even without 2yr contract

P.S2. It looks like they changed it back to One, but .. it's $112, not $80 and it has 3 add-ons, not 4. I hope they straighten this out and give me back EXACTLY what it was. There's no way in hell I'm paying extra $32 for anything they can offer

P.S3. As of now (1-2 hours later) it's the same as PS2 above, but it is jumping between 2 and 3 add-ons. It must be difficult to add that same plan back, but hope it's not impossible.

Too many comments to read through, but I saw someone mention that you'll need to pay for the SIM/activation $30. I have the T-mobile ONE plus Amplified plan with 3 lines ($140/mo plus $10 kickback) + now this free one. I've paid $10 for the SIM plus tax and was told that I will not have to pay anything else for activation when I've contacted them about this deal via chat. All I need to do is contact T-mobile when I'll get the SIM to activate. I see the line on my account already and should receive the SIM card tomorrow. Hope this helps.

Does your account have the "Friends & Fam 2 Lines On Us" from 2016 or the $10 4th Line Promo?
What discounts do you have under Plan Details?

Your plan's limit is 3 voice lines. So you need to ask them to put you under ONE that has 4-8 lines.

How long did it take from placing the order until seeing the new line on your account? Do you see the promo on your account as well?

i went to the store - and told them repeatedly to make sure plan does not change - he confirmed it won't - now that i did the free line, trade, and port-in. It still shows T-mobile One on mine, hoping this works well.
text 611 from your tmobile phone. I would not trust store. I asked does it show on the contract what we did today. He said it does not show up on the printout.

I am on with 611 t-mobile expert right now.
