How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Of course YMMV but I canceled a line earlier this month. I signed up early on Friday morning via TForce. She said my plan qualifies and went went through the process of ordering a SIM. About 29 hours or so later the promotion showed up in my account. I did not ask about the canceled line and she did not mention it. It was not even posted on this thread about the 90 days when I made the order.

So it's possible it may work for you. Someone also said they may remove the promotion from my account after a few billing cycles. I can fight them on that since I have the chat saved with my rep saying I qualified. Never seen any terms written saying it has to be 90 days. I figured at this point if they cancel it in 3 months hey I get a free line (well $10 for the SIM) for the 3 months. It's worth the gamble for me. It is just a spare phone so I can watch shows on when I doing other stuff on my main phone away from the house.
Cool. Thanks. I'll try my luck tomorrow.

What an annoying mess! I chatted just to be sure my line would be free and it's not. My 2/100 line isn't eligible. So now they are "Trying" to put my old plan back on and they are giving me a hard time about refunding me the SIM card fee. They say I might get a charge next month for the new line too. They even tried hardcore to sell me a new line for just $20/month.

They admitted not many reps the past few days knew what they were doing so they expect a lot of bill corrections in the coming months.

10Gb LTE hotspot
it is also part of

ONE Plus Promo - Free
Now, activate HD video streaming and 10GB of high-speed Mobile Hotspot data for no extra charge. You will also get unlimited data in 140+ global destinations at twice the speed (up to 256kbps), included free. T-Mobile ONE includes unlimited talk, unlimited text & unlimited data.
Changes made in the middle of a billing cycle will result in full monthly charges of the new feature.
On all T-Mobile plans, during congestion, the small fraction of customers using >50GB/mo. may notice reduced speeds until next bill cycle due to data prioritization.

Did you try 611? My plan not on the picture list but promo is now being added to my plan.
Sorry to break it to you, but if your SOC isn't on that screenshot list, you aren't getting the free line. As it's been said repeatedly here, the CSRs don't actually "add" the promo. They simply attempt to see if you qualify (with about a 50% error rate on accuracy) and then add a regular new line. They can put the promo code into the notes, but that doesn't mean anything. The system will automatically apply the promo on ANY new lines IF it qualifies. If it doesn't, you are SOL. So before you go celebrating, watch your account and see the discount shows up (highly unlikely).

I'd be curious to know how it works out for you. I'm in the same boat - they are fixing it but the "new old" plan is now $112, not $80 and has 3 add-ons per line, not 4.

I believe even a minute on the higher priced plan (like magenta) will be reflected on your next bill, so yes, on the top trying to get everything back we'll have to call back to get credits... it's a freaking mess.. I wish I waited Smilie

P.S. interestingly I asked 2 us based reps I talked to if they have many customers with this same issue.. and they said NONE and that they've been working on my account for 3+ hours.

P.S. I'm so angry I wasted about an hour on Friday and probably 2-3 hours today... and what pisses me off the most (as always) - they are making/fixing mistakes while they are on the clock getting paid... I'm not!
Apparently they consider Free WiFi as free add on. Mine actually has 6 add on, 2 of them are nothing but Scam Blocking function.

Majority of free upgrade were included in ONE Plus Promo. If you see HD Video, Kick Back & ONE Plus Promo, you really not missing much.

Will this work for me?

I have a SC 4for100 SOC: SCFUTT4 plan with an old "This one is on us" free line promotion.
If the promotion does work, do I have to pay taxes/fees on the line and or must pay for a SIM card?

Thank you
have the same plat without the this one is on us promotion but I was able to add a line, I think we do have to pay taxes/fees for line just like all of our other lines since our plan doesn't include tax and fees, you will probably have to pay for a simcard unless u have an old unused one lying around like I did.

So you are going back to your old plan too? You won't be paying more per month right?

Let me know how it works out for you as well.

Successfully added the free line the other day. Called 611. My plan is SCNA 10gb was not qualified but due to loyalty they went through adding it. I was also offered the s20 bogo or the 50% phones as i qualified by the new line. On my plan, the 20 on 2020 on us shows. was charged the $20 fee but was immediately credited back to the account.

If you click on plan detail, click on the right arrow at "Included in 2 Line TMO ONE All in Promo." You will see GOGO Flight list in there.

My order still says "Being Processed" since yesterday morning. Is that normal?

Maybe you could sell your plan on eBay or something. Some people might be willing to pay for your t-zones. You could consider open up a new plan. If someone is of 55 years of age, you can open up the 55+ plans. Currently they have the Magenta plans where you open 2 lines, get 3rd line free. You could have someone pay you monthly for the line. Food for thought
Thank you - I will look into these ideas. Unfortunately dont really have anyone who I can tap into for the 55+ plan.
