How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Which plan do you have? how many lines, the cost, etc.

I think most people here who have problems are on "T-Mobile ONE All-In Promo" which is 3 lines for $80 (2 lines + 1 free, after 20% hookup discount with $8 kickback for under 2gb data usage) and plan has ONE Plus Promo included

i didn't grab the free line back in the day even tho it was available for months (i had a friend who was interested but kept waffling, should have done it because free is free).

maybe if i get a different CSR i'll get a different result.

Just remember that regardless of whatever a CSR says, if your plan is not on the approved SOC list, you're not getting the deal.

Thank you. How do I know which 2 paid lines this free line is tied to? I have 6 paid lines on my account.
Actually, you won't. The deal requires 2 Paid Lines, and once that is fulfilled, the system will let you live, long enough to find another hitch it can trip you up on.

P.S. I'm so angry I wasted about an hour on Friday and probably 2-3 hours today... and what pisses me off the most (as always) - they are making/fixing mistakes while they are on the clock getting paid... I'm not!
BTDT. Took Executive care to eventually (talking about 4 months) to straighten out my account after a few 'simple' changes to my plan by TForce (before they were called TForce). And this was back when I had only 4 lines, changing from 4th Line On Us Prome to One Plan (taxes excluded). You know what hit the fan when I fatefully opted to go One Plan Taxes Included (aka All-In). Hours upon hours wasted fighting for bill credits that never materialized from the system, despite all known stipulations followed exactly. Then I capitalized on many promos, some seemless, some a struggle, and you're left wondering how running a business selling essentially one service only could be so damned complex. It's mystifying. Best of luck, patience and and iron gut sure helps.

Well I think I've spent enough time Friday to now trying to see if someone whose plan has soc code 10SCFM4 got their line for free. A couple people with the plan added their line but it just shows as a regular monthly charge, no mention of 2020 on us promo. The code is not on the approved list

Yes before all of this went to hell with my plan my line had 9 add-ons,

Yesterday then it showed 7 but I added Netflix back so it went to 8.

Now it shows 5-missing Free WiFi calling is one I noticed but the overall plan says it's there and I am able to make WiFi calls.

Called in to get the free line promo, the rep says with the Simple Choice plan I am on it maxes out at 6 voice lines. I already have 6 voice lines, so I would need to move to the Magenta plan.

She stated if I made the change, she could give me the 3rd line free, and my 7th line free. With the AutoPay discount (not currently enrolled in AutoPay) my price would be the same as it is today, but I would have 7 voice lines.

I know everyone says don't move off of SimpleChoice, but it seems like at least for my plan I have to. Any suggestions?

Be careful. What is your final cost vs what you were paying before? Any perks you had before will likely be gone. There's no way you'll get the same pricing for Magenta vs whatever SC plan you have

Free ninth line finally hit my account...text arrived saying promo applied, etc. so logged in and found new number added, with the proper promo applied making the OP8 $14.58/mo EIP, as it should be. Painless so far, even with the near full day on slow Twitter TForce for 3 questions and half answers. Ha.
