How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I ordered free line via 611, confirmed 5 times it was a free line, and no plan change associated. Looking at my account shows same plan but $20 more expensive
Normal. Credits are a cycle or two (hopefully not 3) away, with a lump sum to make up. It's the system, baby.

Kinda thought so, that's why I didn't contact them back. Thanks for clarifying

Sorry to break it to you, but if your SOC isn't on that screenshot list, you aren't getting the free line. As it's been said repeatedly here, the CSRs don't actually "add" the promo. They simply attempt to see if you qualify (with about a 50% error rate on accuracy) and then add a regular new line. They can put the promo code into the notes, but that doesn't mean anything. The system will automatically apply the promo on ANY new lines IF it qualifies. If it doesn't, you are SOL. So before you go celebrating, watch your account and see the discount shows up (highly unlikely).
I plan on it. Not celebrating yet. I have a guarantee in writing the the line is free and it is an unlimited line like my current lines. This has been a huge waste of a Sunday getting this line added and getting $200 the iphone SE.

text 611 from your tmobile phone. I would not trust store. I asked does it show on the contract what we did today. He said it does not show up on the printout.

I am on with 611 t-mobile expert right now.
i checked with T-Force they said it can take 1-2 billing cycles for promos to kick in automatically.

they said everything was done right.

So, I was happy that I had gotten the iPhone 11 trade in offer on SC plan on Saturday only to get a call from a rep this evening stating that I won't receive $500 trade in credits even if I were to send in my phone(iPhone 6s) as SC plan did not qualify for the iPhone 11 promo..they offered to switch my plan to Essentials..I refused to do so..my phone had already shipped so I told them I will be returning that phone..I went ahead and did the iPhone SE offer

the phone 50% offers are not quite attractive
samsung a71 is sold for 360 everywhere, and they sell for 600. so 50% off is still 300.
one plus 8 is 700, but the 8 pro is so much better than 8, and they don't allow you to buy 8 pro 50% off.

Where did you find the USA a71 5G for $360? In fact I haven't seen it for sale anywhere yet. The international a71 4G can be had for that, though. Which might be fine but it's not apples to apples.

What happens to the 50% promotion on the SE then? Will they apply the amount of the SE towards the 11?? I ordered the SE as well, but obviously prefer the 11.
The 50% off doesn't get applied to all phones, only few if you were to check their website. The iPhone 11 is free after trade in of iPhone 8 and higher and a number port from other carrier.
I was paying $200 for the SE anyways, so I bought a iPhone 8 plus from Craigslist for $200 and will get a prepaid ATT number to port from.

I wouldn't put the blame of the mistakes on the T-Mobile reps though. Their promo FAQ pages that provides the promo details are so hard to find or non-existent on the T-Mobile website. It's like signing a contract without being able to see the fine print!

Any two paid lines.
And to further that question, how do you know which lines are the paid lines? I signed up Thursday for 2 lines plus 3rd line on us. first 2 lines were new phones, 3rd was supposedly the free line byod. But the 3rd line is now the "main" line that gets account notifications and is the sign in number somehow. Hopefully I can change that.
Got the free 4th line today, so I can rule that one out, but not sure about the first 3. Does it specify which lines are free on bill or something?

Called in to get the free line promo, the rep says with the Simple Choice plan I am on it maxes out at 6 voice lines. I already have 6 voice lines, so I would need to move to the Magenta plan.

She stated if I made the change, she could give me the 3rd line free, and my 7th line free. With the AutoPay discount (not currently enrolled in AutoPay) my price would be the same as it is today, but I would have 7 voice lines.

I know everyone says don't move off of SimpleChoice, but it seems like at least for my plan I have to. Any suggestions?
Simple choice has 10 lines max limit. I could not take advantage of this offer as I'm maxed at 10 lines

If you have the Tmobile app on your phone, go to the "Bill" section at the bottom of the screen, scroll just a little bit down and slide the "Show me less details" button. It should turn pink from gray. Just below that you will see "View by category" and "View by line". Click on"view by line" , you will see each of your lines . One of my free lines says this
. (312) 123 4567 received 19 Magenta Friday
Free Line of $20
The rest are paid lines and that's how I know which line was free.

Actually, you won't. The deal requires 2 Paid Lines, and once that is fulfilled, the system will let you live, long enough to find another hitch it can trip you up on.
Thanks! So as long as I have 2 active lines I should be good? I plan on canceling 1 of my paid lines and switching to the free line as my main line.

You should not be cancelling any lines for atleast a year.

SC does not qualify for the iPhone 11 on us port promo??? I did it in-store on Friday and the promo sheet that they had listed SC as eligible. I bought an 11 Pro and traded in a 6S...
