How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Have the exact same plan and was unsuccessful with 611 or Twitter t-force this evening to get my plan converted from FRLTUL2LP to FRLTUL4LP in order to add the free line.

Just enjoy it as is.
Thanks for letting me know. I guess I don't need to haunt this thread anymore.

Cheers!

Any idea if we still need to pay taxes for this line or it's completely free?

I would presume if you're on the tax free plans you'd get taxes free. SC plans would probably cost the <$5 per line in taxes.

Very happy right now !!!, so my simple choice plan SCFTTU4 is for sure eligible for the free line promo, but it isn't for the iPhone 11 on us deal, but previous rep said I was and already ordered the phone for me and set up my trade in device and everything until I checked when people on here say simple choice isn't eligible so I went back to support and double check, indeed the rep say it wasn't supposed to be eligible for phone deal with my plan but since previous rep said you did and already set up everything and that I already received the iPhone 11, they are gonna honor this as one time courtesy after I ship my trade in device iPhone 8plus back to them and the credit is posted the rep will manually try to add the promotion for me anyway if that doesn't work it will just send another lum sum of the remain credits of the promotion offer to me, so In the end everything worked out, got really lucky YMMV.

Ordered my line on the app morning Saturday but it hasn't shipped yet and I don't see the promo line in my account yet. Hopefully it qualifies for the free line promo! I have T-Mobile One.

Not always, but maybe with grandfathered bonus plans. I have current Magenta which should be the easiest to navigate--no other promos other than 3rd line on us, and at first T-force said I had to activate a paid line to get a free line. Then I remined them of $20 2020 free line on us promo, and she agreed. Then I mentioned iP8 trade in on a samsung, and she said worth $110, I reminded her of Sammy 2020 trade in5, and she said that my ip8 was worth $500 trade over 24 months bill credits. In actuality, it's $100 or so in real value one time bill credit or instant credit in store, plus a $400 more or less MasterCard in 2 months. Problem is, those t 6 or 7 exchanges outlined above took 16 hours today, and ended when they closed, with no result. In fact, my first question on that list was started yesterday, and my final clarification of promo has not been responded to yet, so 5 exchanges in 16 hours today. . .and nothing accomplished
Should just do it via 611 text. Took me 20 minutes

Where did you find the USA a71 5G for $360? In fact I haven't seen it for sale anywhere yet. The international a71 4G can be had for that, though. Which might be fine but it's not apples to apples.
A71 is a 300 level phone period. I don't care it supports 5g or not.

I appreciate if anyone can help me understand this.

I've got three lines right now. My current plan is a T-Mobile ONE International Plus plan that is no longer available. The key thing about that plan is that I get unlimited LTE tethering. I can't afford to mess that up (I use about 45GB/mo working remotely and this LTE is my only option that's fast enough in my rural area).

If I add this line:

1) Do I risk screwing up my current plan? I can't end up limited to like 10GB/mo tethering.

2) What plan does the voice line get? I know it's free voice. Does it just have no data? My plan is already unlimited data on my other lines, so it's not like I have a monthly shared allotment or something.

I ask because I'm interested in the One Plus 8 at half off. I live right on the edge of where it shows 5G on their coverage map, so I'm intrigued at the chance to get a 5G phone at a decent price to see if it improves my connection further (I'd put the OP8 on my main line after buying it).

Appreciate any insight.

so if your plan is eligible for the free line promotion it shouldn't change anything unless your plans limits 3 lines only like some of the t-mobile one plans I believe, the new voice line should inherits the same features and data as your existing lines, again this if you are eligible which I'm not quite sure so you would have to ask on that.

Just finished chatting with reps in regarding if google voice numbers are eligible for port in, below is the conversations:

REP
"For your number, some google numbers are not eligible for porting, but I can certainly look into this. What's the number that you were referencing?

ME
oh hello no problems Ashley I know you guys are slammed because of that new free line offer and everyone's trying to get on board and stacking phone deals with it as well so I don't mind the wait Smilie I hope you are having a great day too! and perfect if you could check the number for me: (503) ***-***

REP
Okay awesome! Thanks so much for understanding and bearing with us Smilie You've been with us for over 14+ years - so our gratitude goes a long way! I checked and the good news is (503) ***-*** does show me "eligible for port in" so in order to do so, we would just need to know 1. the number it would be replacing 2. the account number and 3. the pin from google Smilie

ME
alright sounds great I just want to know if it is eligible, you mention that some google voice numbers are not eligible though what determines that? just out of curiosity.
12:06 AM

ME
as mentioned before some reps say free google voice numbers are not eligible for the port in? but mine number was free I just had to paid to unlock it for the port in the process
12:07 AM

REP
Also, a great question. On our end, our porting team has confirmed:
When it comes to Google Voice
-Numbers are locked to stop them from being ported out without customer consent.
-The number has to be unlocked before customers can port it.
-The phone number is the account number. and the PIN is a standard pin

so as long as it's been unlocked, we can request the port Smilie
12:23 AM

from what it sounds like nothings have changed from the past deals that I used google voice for the port in requirement but few people say that their reps told them that google voice numbers are not eligible carriers? so I guess this becomes a YMMV now.

How do you figure out the code name of your plan? I have Simple Choice North America but not sure what the "code" is for that. I called and ordered the morning this went live. i too signed up for the free line (which i see already) and the free iphone 11 with trade in. The rep said i qualify. The phone has shipped but I have not received it yet. Do I need to call back and check if it still is free? I am suppose to get a follow up call this wednesday from the same rep. Should I call tomorrow in case i need to cancel the phone?

On my bill, the plan is named: SC NAmerica UnlTT+D 2 Lines (each line gets 2GB data, please no judgement)

you can ask support directly for your SOC code or you can follow the instruction on wiki to find it , if your code is in the eligible list your added line should be free and the discount is added automatically on your overall plan view page.

"For your plan code view in Chrome:
1.View>Developer>JavaScript Console(short cut is CTRL+SHIFT+J). Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
2.Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
3.In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
4.Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.(which you can also do ctrl+f and search "soc"
