This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

So-- I had T-Mobile One with 4 lines, kickback, and that's it. (Soc: TIUL4L). I did not have One + or any other rare promos.

On Saturday, I used 611 chat- to add a line, and do the iPhone SE promo. It took over 2 hours back and forth. In the end- they switched me to Magenta-- and promised to "Switch everything back" after the line activated. And was assured and promised this would happen automatically, and it was approved and on file by a supervisor.

Currently, the new line just activated, phone number assigned, and the device is shipped with tracking number.

What are the chances they will be able to switch my account back correctly?

Anyone get their iPhone 11 yet as part of this free line deal? Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow and just wanted to see if any hiccups with the trade-in or port-in.

I am on a similar Simple Choice Plan, I'm paying for 4 lines, but had 6 and now 7 lines, $120+Tax.

They gave me Unlimited Data on all my existing lines, it shows 10GB on new line, though I have never used more than 3GB on any line.

HTH.
How did you get the Unlimited Data plan? Was this that automatic upgrade from last year?

No, tried that yesterday. On one of of my accounts I have the same plan. Used the chat on the app. Rep said yes, I qualify. Needed a SIM card to add the line. I had one at home, so they said they could call me back.

First of all, whatever country they were calling me from had the longest delay on the call possible. I would basically say something and it would be literally 10 second later before I knew the rep heard what I said.

Second, there was literally a rooster going off in the background the entire time! I guess in whatever country they are, they're working from home.

The whole call took 1 hour, 20 minutes. The rep kept getting errors after putting me on hold---they said 3 to 5 minutes which turned out to be 10. However during those 10 minutes at least I got a break from hearing the rooster!

First she suggested changing to me to Magenta from T-Mobile One Plus All-In and I said no, forget that. Then she was trying something else like add a separate line completely.

At the end, I said forget it, but she said she would call me back today after she talks to her supervisor. She was fighting so hard to do this, I don't know if she is worried that she'll be penalized by bad customer feedback if she doesn't get the line added. But she didn't want to drop it.

After I got off the call, I looked up my SOC code and compared to the screen shot. I see my code, FRLTUL2LP is not in the list so I'm fine with that.

I can't understand how T-Mobile thinks its a good idea to have 1 hour 20 minute customer service calls with a rooster in the background. If they simply trained their reps to look up the SOC code in the list as the first step they could handle their customers much more quickly.
You should have asked her to throw in the rooster for free for all the trouble. laugh out loud

Has anyone found a workaround for adding a free line to the $100 One Plus plan? Switching to Magenta would raise bill to $140/month.

They prob changed your plan like they did mine. Mine showed unlimited data after also. It completely screwed up my discounts and everything. I called back to have it all put back and the free line taken off.

Chatted with T-force. As others have said, if your plan's soc code is NOT on the list mentioned in the wiki, forget about it, you're not eligible. Period.

Any rep who thinks your plan is eligible when it's not on the list is clueless and you will be dealing with headache later, especially if that rep does something to your plan (which you don't want), like changing it, unless you were ok to change it. I will be very careful about doing phone promotion on top of adding the line if you're not sure your plan is eligible. You're going to have to return it (if you decide to cancel the line that's not free if you're not eligible).

If your plan not on the list and CSR said you are eligible, either they made a mistake or they know for your plan, they can switch you to a similar plan that has the same price and same features that do qualify(?) But if you have previous promotion or discount on your account, those may be affected. If they are expert in transferring all your stuff over to the new plan, then it is all good. But if CSR are clueless about that, that you are screwed.

Has anyone been approved switching from FRLTUL2LP (2 Lines TMO ONE All In Promo) to another grandfathered plan, such as FRLTUL4LP ?

I have 3 paid lines for $96 total each month after all discounts. I would like to bail on this plan in order to take advantage of promos like this one, and future promos, but do not want to go Magenta.

Why do you want to get this 4th free line b/c your plan price will increase? Are you ok with that b/c free = $16-20 increase. Do you need the 4th line or do you have some other things in mind for the future?
What is this $16-$20 increase I keep seeing here? I don't see any mention of it on my updated plan. I got moved to the magenta plan but that's tax inclusive according to the rep.

A rep added a promo on my account (stay connected discount). Anyone know what that is?

If you get the right rep it is doable to switch it back correctly. It will just be a super big headache. You will most likely be passed around to other reps and have to explain everything over and over again. I learned yesterday and today promises and guarantees mean nothing.
