How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

You can use the phone on any line.
Can I use different number right away as soon as I receive the phone or have to wait until first monthly credit is posted?

How do I check for "Applied discounts and promotions" in my T-Mobile account? I want to check if they applied all promos properly or not.

I was told that they will send a SIM to activate the line then once it is active you can change/ port-in a number. You should confirm with a rep though since the two reps we spoke to gave us generally conflicting information!
They're charging $15 to change the number. Any way to avoid that fee?

How can I find "Applied discounts and promotions" section in my account? Trying to find whether all promos have been applied correctly to my account or not.

Where are you guys seeing the $20 line discount. I don't see any discounts and the bill is showing $20 more. I spoke with the rep, and she's claiming I won't see the credit until 2 bill cycles.

I have NAFUTT4 and my free line just showed up today.
The unlimited data option also shows up to select for it.

Thank you. Yeah, that's how the other lines look. I may wait a day or so until after I get my 11 tomorrow and get it all set up to then have a rep add it.

Log in at my.t-mobile.com on your computer browser. Then click on Account link (top left). And then click on your plan ... in my case it's the "Magenta" text as that's my plan. That should show the plan's monthly cost as well as "Applied discounts and promotions". It's in this section that I have "$30 2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)" because my additional line would've been $30 for the 11th line on the plan. See screenshot attached.

Did anyone else get confirmation from TForce that you can do the XS or 11 promo on SC plans? I was told I could on my NAFUTT4 plan, so went ahead and ordered one, now I'm hearing the SC plans are actually not? I did have the guy confirm over the phone, as well as type it out in twitter that I was eligible.
I only have it in a Twitter message from a T-Force rep. It better go as planned once I get it set up! I don't want to trade in my wife's 256gb iPhone 8+ and then be SOL on the credits and stuck with a retail-priced 11.

Yes you can get a free line. It's a simple choice plan. But I believe this plan can only get 3 lines max so you would have to convert to magenta. It depends on the soc code I have an all in plan with 5 lines and can get extra line free. Go to the store or call 611 and they can try it.
If I convert to Magenta, I would end up paying more for what I have, so instead of $100 (or $80 with kickbacks) for 3 lines I'd be $120 for 4 lines. I'm so overwhelmed and confused by this that I think I'll skip it and just realize that the people getting the free line are mostly the people who already have killer grandfathered plans I could only dream of getting.

I currently have 2-line Tmobile One all-in promo with kickbacks for $100 after auto-pay and tax included.I messaged t-mobile through app. The rep told me he needs to switch me to tmobile Magenta. I of course declined to switch.

I read that someone has the same promo and successfully requested for the free line. How is that possibile?
I have the same plan and was told on Friday I don't qualify, and many other posts here have confirmed that. I was told for $20 more I could add a 4th line, but I only want it for free. I forgot to ask the T-Mo rep if $20 more is an "always available" price or a limited-time promotion. Does anyone know?

Regardless, after sampling various pages of comments in this overwhelmingly long thread, I saw too many stories of people being given conflicting info or having their grandfathered plans converted by accident and being told they can't be changed back. Plus as others have said, T-Mo's promotions and system are so complicated that the "experts" there barely understand it, so it's very YMMV.

I'm glad the electric or water utilities don't use T-Mo's pricing scheme where the price you pay for the same service is dependent on when you signed up and how lucky you were which promos were available at the time. That is, AFAIK, 1 Killowatt-hour costs the same for everyone in my area which is fair, but at T-Mo there are people paying ridiculously different prices for the same thing all due to luck/timing (reminds me of the stock market).

So while I realize my T-Mo All-In One plan with 3 lines for $100 (or $80 with kickback) sucks compared to the people paying $64 with extra 20% off (being a friend of an employee which I'm not) or compared to the people with 8 unlimited lines + free Netflix for $120 who qualify for this promo, the bottomline is I'm too scared to risk making any changes or I might end up with something worse.

Yes i would like to know as well. If anyone was able to get this done successfully. I did try and they messed up my account and switched me to magenta plan plus they hooked another line when I tried to trade my phone. Now dealing with 4 lines and $140 bill instead is simple $100, 3 lines and phone. What the mess.....

Did not realize there is 50% off phone with new line even it's free line. I have requested the new line and sim is on the way, can I still add the phone and receive 50% through credit?

How did you get the 2 insider discounts? And are the 2 add a line free lines free forever or just like a year? As long as you don't change plans? Can you add or remove lines while keeping promo?
