How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Since it's not on the list, I wouldn't risk it unless you want to be dealing with customer service for hours trying to fix it later.
Yes I agree.....I quoted someone who it supposedly worked for. I already have one free line from years ago. And it's a spare phone. So I don't need it. Was just giving info

So I was assured many times through the Imessage chat when added the line I was eligible and it would be no cost on Friday morning. Fast forward to the knowledge we have today and my plan is not mentioned in the eligible socs. I have not received a text about service discount. However looking at my account history it says "New line xxxxxx was added to your account on 06/26/2020 at 03:04 PM . This line is on the SC FM UTT+UNL 4 lines Promo plan for $0.0 per month plus taxes and fees." I do not see the promo "2020 this one on us" on that line anywhere and my bills charges went up by $30, which is the cost of a addaline in my plan. is it safe to assume I won't be getting the discount even though the account history says its added for $0? Is everyone's showing up at $0 even if it's not really $0?
If you don't get the "Congrats!" text talking about the discount within about 12 hours, then you might have a problem.
I know the reps will say to wait 1-2 billing cycles, but most everyone with an eligible listed SOC has gotten the text confirming their promotion after the line was activated.

The line showing up for "$0.0" under Activity I think is normal for everyone, regardless of promotion.

Man, the tforce is not friendly today lol. I Have been on tmobile since 2006 and I am on the frltul2lp all in. I have 2 lines, I had a 3rd line in 2016 and cancelled that at some point and they just wont let me add another.
I see all these discounts everyone else has gotten through the years and I wish I was more on top of it myself.
AMEN! I thought it was just me but I've never experienced bad and rude service like this.

I added the free line on Friday and received the promotion yesterday. This morning,
I received the following text message.

T-Mobile alert! You've been un-enrolled from your promotional service discount as the account no longer meets promotion eligibility criteria.

I got a free line and got the Samsung BOGO Promo with S20 5g and S20+ 5g, but the rep said I have to keep the new # active for 2 years on one of the new phone, which I'm not planning to.

Is that mandatory if anyone knows ?

TIA.
The new line has to stay in your account, you can't cancel it for a while. But does it have to be inside a new phone? I don't think so. I believe you can use it for any phone you want. At least that's my experience when I got free line few years ago. I just put it once a while for my spare phone.

Any advise on how I can add a new phone to an already added new line? I already made use of the free line deal and the sim should be coming latest tomorrow. Thinking about it, wont hurt to get the iPhone deal or even the 50% off.

Correct. TMO doesn't care about what SIM goes where, or what phone you have it in, you can sell the phone straight away and use the SIM in any other compatible phone. Insofar as your account, the system needs to see those line requirements resolve properly to apply any credits. SDPirates, your csr was likely misinformed.

Yes, that's what I thought that the phone can be used with any line, Thanks for your reply.

You will need to keep 3 lines active: 2 Lines to get the 3rd free, and the free line to get monthly phone credits.

They say I don't qualify because I already have the 3rd line free. This isn't worth the headache. I'm going to cancel the entire account. I haven't ported any numbers over yet anyway.

I have taken some of the offers in past and this one is interesting. I am on Simple choice plan and chatted through 611. He said I can take advantage of add a line offer and also port in and get new iphone 11 free. I am porting from Sprint. He promised me that it will be instant credit to my account once I return the old iphone 8. He said i can either get credits for 24 months or instant. I have to see how it goes once I return my iphone 8 either at store or sending it back. I am waiting for iphone 11 before I return the iphone 8. He had to change my plan to Megneta to add a line as he was not able to add a line ( I had 9 lines before ) and the change it back to Simple choice. I saw that it was Magneta for few minutes and then changed it back to Simple choice.

I'm spent. I failed 4 times today different operator via tforce and 611. I think its time to cut my losses and port out and wait for another promo when they offer the friends and family with 20%.

As a side note the one operator I just recently spoke with said that in November if I did stay there would be another promo that would allow me on my current plan to add a free line. I currently have the frltul2lp. So just something for you other guys to look forward to.

Additionally, I was told I could revert to the old plan I had on my account at one time as well which was 4 lines for $120. Just another way for some of you to try if you had some different plans in the past.
