How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

That language I think shows up for everyone who adds a line for some reason, regardless of promo.

You need to receive the promo text after the line is activated, and have "2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)" show up under your plan.

That's what I figured after watching this thread for a few days while checking my account for changes.

What is your SOC? Your plan was 10GB but got updated to unlimited data right? I wonder if a rep can change it to your plan. Highly doubtful though

I have a question I'm sure has been answered before and I'm overlooking it.

If I add a line for free and take advantage of the OnePlus 7t offer to go with it. Does the phone have to stay tied to that new line specifically to keep the credits coming? Or am I able to use it on a different line on my plan?
Promotion credit is tied to the line. You can do whatever with the device, use it on another SIM or sell it.

Find your SOC per the wiki at the top of this forum. There are two very similar plans, one with a soc of USCFM4L, which is eligible.
I found this link: https://www.coursehero.com/file/p...100-for-2/

The USCFM4L starts at 4 lines at $180.

Thank you. The answer I got on chat was this and was not sure if it was actually correct.

Hi Shawn! My name is Florence and we deeply appreciate your patience here in Live Messaging.
You may definitely use your 7T to your other existing line after you finished the device EIP and received all of the credits to avoid the removal of the promo offer you took advantage with the device.

At that point, wouldn't it be better to just switch over to Magenta if you didn't have any discounts or other things holding you back.

Magenta was $140 for 4 lines right?

USCFM4 had true unlimited data where you can stream at highest resolution available. not sure how much lte hotspot you get with magenta now either. I get 14gb per line. also I have grandfathered corporate discount 15% off.

NAFUTT4. Very desirable plan, but doesn't allow corporate/government discounts if you have one. 4 lines for $120 base, +$20 per additional line.
You can try to convince a rep to switch you to that.

Yeah pretty much everyone I know who has switched to it has been able to select unlimited data for free.

I added a line and attempted to port in the number but seems like it failed to port in properly and I have a new number with a different area code on my account. I got the 500 off iPhone promo. Will I be on the hook for the non promo price or will I get credit after they receive my trade? Worried since it's not a deal without the credit and not sure if I could get the phone back.

also not seeing iphone promo 5 in my account history

your port should be after the new line and number are assigned.

Can you switch a line's number? I want to cancel one of my original 5 lines, but I'll lose my free line from 2016, which is my in-laws number now. Wondering if I can switch my in-laws number from the 2016 free line to this promotion's line. Not talking about switching sims, but the actual phone number associated to the line. So basically, porting from one line to another on the same account

Exactly, the 14GB hotspots with meetings and business trips. Also, I do have my Corp Discount which pays the taxes and fees.

Does anyone get 4 lines for less than $100 or 5 lines for $100? If so, what plan?

I have the same plan and I am pretty sure we are SOL. Even though I was also assured it would work we never got the promo text. It does show $0 in account history but everyone's does, without the promo text I think it's a no go. Also if I check the account summary my account went up by $30 (added line cost). I was assured so if it does bill (pretty sure it will) I will fight them until they make it right. Complicating things is I added a iphonese so the line can't be canceled otherwise I lose that $200 too
Yes, well it looks bad but let's fight to the end.

My question was if people had to pay the tax for both the mobile phones (equipment) not for the line. They have charged me $120 for 2 phones.
Sorry for the extra information I included. You will be charged full tax for both equipment.
