How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I am hoping we can get the other thread about the additional line merged into this one. I spoke to T-Mobile and confirmed with them that this is the same promotion and that people who are requesting an additional line while already getting a free line from 6/26 on will be charged for the other line.

Good luck to those who were successful!

All my CSR that I talked to either through chat or on the phone, they all said SC plans only qualifies for the SE. If you can get an XS for $350, good for you but for $150 more for a backup phone, not really worth it for me.
Quote from Quadcore :
Tmobile one is not eligible for iPhone xs 50% off promo only newer Magenta plans are. You can go to faqs section to see list of eligible plans.
You both are absolutely right. The iPhone XS 50% off offer does NOT apply to those of us with SC plans adding a line. It's just a generic ad when you login and try to add a line, it's not taking into account your plan. Oh well, the SE is still a good phone for the half off too!

Agreed. This deal that started a week ago is still active. The email that went out with fireworks is just celebrating the holiday, if you will, with the same deal.

I think since SIM/Phone shipping plus new line activation takes some time, the 1st free line won't show up in people's accounts for a while. Hence, some reps didn't check carefully when adding a 2rd free line without knowing about the first order placed a few days ago.

Yes. I think people who were upset with reps before with this deal saying they qualified and they weren't, are going to be very upset if they get another "free" line, just to find out it isn't free at all.

YMMV is in that thread title but I can always guarantee that anyone who gets that "free" line will be charged for it soon enough.

I reached out to the mods to report that the other thread is a duplicate but they indicated to me it was a different deal.

Oh well!

I think even if the rep add it to your account, the system will start charging you for the second free line without you knowing about it till you get your bill. This is what I think and I may be wrong.

Exactly. If the system will auto correct and give you free 1st line or BOGO phone, if qualified by ordering yourself online "at regular prices". . .then expect the unqualified free line they give you to come with a $20 a month correction . .

pretty much, this shows how incompetent t mobile reps are. 1 rep even said to me that the next time i should check the promos on their website before talking to them, so then i will have all the details. So then no mistakes/disqualified promos will occur. im like wth? im a customer, u r a rep working for tmobile and I'm supposed to know more about the promos than u? something is wrong here... hahaha

I am on the rep side. There are many promos available at same time. You need an idea of what you getting. If not ask them for current promo(s) available so you can choose from.

Can people who got two "free" lines take a look at your account and see discounts like:

"$x0 2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)"?

trust me, i and along many other customers ask about the promos. they explained the promos, tell customers they qualified for this and that, processed the whole paperwork, etc. then in the end, customers find out they don't qualify for having the wrong plan, didn't port a line. the reps even changed customers' plans just to have the promos qualified when the customers repeatedly said not to alter their plans. u can see many frustration stories from this slickdeals thread and on reddit where the reps are at fault.

I was on FRLTUL4LP and they changed me to FRLTUL9FM when I went from 8 lines to 9 lines. My friends and fam free line also disappeared and I received a text stating that. I contacted tforce and they were originally going to give me a credit for the free line and I was fine with that, but the next day I unexpectedly received a text saying the friends and fam discount was reapplied and I can now see the free line back on my account through mytmobile.
what discounts do you have under FRLTUL9FM?

Everyone who is happy due to 2nd free line, it is too early to celebrate. I talked to a rep last night, got offer 2nd free line. I told him that I already took the first free line promo. He said no worries. He also saw that I will be charged for $20 and then will be waived once system detected. I didn't trust him. So I disconnected and talked to other rep. He said you will be charged $20 for this line. I mention about first rep and he said the first rep might not know properly about promo.

So my advice is if you have a lot of free time ( like jobless or furloughed due to covid 19) do it. You can call your credit company and t mobile and argue with them. For those who don't have time, don't do it. It is just a waste of your precious time

Does anyone know if you can drop a line to get a free line, is there anyway around the stipulation of no dropped lines within 90 days? Can I create a new Account in my name rather than a family members, and transfer 4/5 lines then get a free line to have 5 lines again with only 1 new number?
