How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I believe 55+ plans are limited to two voice lines.
You can get 3. I tried adding another online and it wants another $30 which I don't feel is worth it.

I only see 1 promo there, so your 2nd line is not free.

Yes. I think it's YMMV. I received a promotional email to add a free line on July 4th. I called this morning and added one without any problem. I have a Tmobile One all inclusive plan.
i was told its the same promotion as the 2020 on us. he tried to add it but it charged me.

I think you're correct. I'll have to call and double check. The monthly bill didn't change on my Tmobile App but now it looks different when I'm logged in from a PC.
I think part of the reason people are running into this issue is that they're adding multiple lines while the promotion is still active.

For most/all of the free line promos, the credit is supposed to apply to the lowest cost line added during the promo period. If you're on something like One, then all lines in the 5-8 range are exactly the same cost ($20 after autopay).

My guess is that those adding 2nd lines for "free" are having the promotion moved from the original free line to the last line added. This would explain why people asking if the last line is free are being told yes - technically it is, it's just that the one before it now has a cost associated with it.

If you contact support, be sure to ask if both lines you just added show as free, not just the last one. Based on the account information you provided, that is not the case.

Hi I have a question. My 5th line (free add a line) I would like to give to my gf. She has her own number on a single T-Mobile plan. She wants to keep her existing number. Can we move her existing number to my 5th line and replace the 7276662767 with her number?

It looks like they charged me for a new line today. I'm on the phone right now trying figure this out. If it's the same promotion. I'll just take the last one off. It's not worth additional $30.

if your plan isn't eligible, can you sign up for a new account under another family member's name and then cancel the old plan?

exactly. while he was doing it, he was like yeah you qualify! and then all that happened was the previous line was charged, and this new one was free.

i confirmed via t force and calling 611 that it's the exact same promo

I have 4 paid lines. 1 Free from 2017 prior to this week.
No worries, I was simply pointing out that 4th Line was your first, original free line. Due to the Inclusive clawback, the credit shrunk $10, effectively making it a $10 line instead of free. The reason I find it important, is even after the $10 clawback (making a free line cost $10), TForce was insisting it still counted as a 'free line' when adding more free line promos, but these days it seems there is no free line limit, as I now have 5. Was told there was a hard limit of 3 back then.

I just got off the phone with a Tmobile rep and she told me the discount does show up on her end. She told me she would put a note to make sure I will receive the credit for the free line today.

I think lip service. The system will have final say, so be prepared to drop the last line. Would love to be wrong, though.
