This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Did you sign up for the 3rd line free promo + 20% discount for friends and family?

I'm trying to see if I'm able to add this 4th line free or not...

I have the tmobile one plan with third line free offer back then. Can I get a fourth line added for free?
Your answer is in the wiki, find, then search your SOC on the 'approved' pdf.

I did use Firefox,

- I go to https://www.t-mobile.com/home it immediately redirects to login page with different url.
- I initiate Web developer mode and got to Network
- I click on XHR - multiple columns appear, Status, Method, Domain, File, etc
- I click on the first row and and another section is displayed, where I click on "Response"
- I scroll through the response section to look for SocCode
- I keep going through each row in Network section and search in Response section but I don't see the SocCode

I repeat the above after I click on "Manage Account" on T-Mobile site, still could not find SocCode.
I think you are missing the part to look for "subscribe"

You can buy iPhone 11 on us if you have something to trade and buy a number from third party to port in.
After you have the iPhone with EIP for 24 months wait for iPhone 12 have a good promotion then you have iPhone 11 for trade-in at that time. Invest now for future use.
This is exactly what I did, and my thinking, as well. You're never going to get $500 in credit toward a phone from a 6s anywhere, at any time, except right now. The iPhone 11 will likely be good for at least $500 against a 12 or 13. We could even get lucky and get a straight-up trade to a newer model like they ran years ago. Anybody with a lower-end iPhone on the list that can swing the monthly cost should be jumping on this.

system aint the final. i had issues back in 2016 or 2017 when tmobile was giving out 2 free lines on us. there was a lot of debates just like this one now that some may get it and some wont. i've signed up and was confirmed by multiple rep that free 2 lines on us were valid on my account and system wouldnt stick the free credit for some reason. i had to contact rep to get credit adjusted manually on monthly basis and escalated the issues month after month till about 8 or 9 months later that free credits finally sticks in the system
It's been a while since I dealt with Simple Choice (what you were probably on at the time), but IIRC, the deal you're referencing was actually for 2 free lines. If it only allowed one, it was either a specific plan SOC that was not eligible, or a billing system error, which was incredibly common back then. If it was a SOC issue, then likely what happened is you were switched to a similar/same plan with a different SOC to make you eligible. They can do that now, too. What they can't do (and wouldn't have done back then, either) is put you on a promo that your specific plan SOC does not qualify for. Ever since the billing system changes a few years ago, things are locked down tight - if you add a line during the promo period and qualify, you're going to get it, and if you don't meet the requirements (either add the line before or after the promo period, aren't on an eligible SOC, etc.) you won't. I imagine that the reason for this, at least in part, is to make sure that reps aren't sticking on free lines for friends and family, or that customers like me aren't ending up with 12 line plans for $0.00 a month. It's safer (and a lot lest costly) to the tell the system what to apply and let it do its thing.

Quote from alphawave :
They did a SOC change to the system to allow the credits to stick. Mine took 6 months and executive care, and many many unpaid hours on Twitter, and I can honestly say it is NOT worth the hassle. There will be more promos. The system still has the final say. Be it manual credits, or SOC change, there's not much else to tweak without opening up pandora's box. Either the promo terms apply to your SOC at the time frame referenced, or it doesn't. When it doesn't, find out why and make the much easier changes on your end (upgrade account).
This is likely what happened, I agree. There may have been more wiggle room back then, but there sure isn't now. Nothing other than a change to an eligible plan is going to fix a free line promo.

Quote from benben60208 :
So, even it is a free line, I think I still need to pay regulation/tax...fees for the free line. Even the rep told me over the phone that there is no additional charge for this free line, but I saw order email later indicates such required fees.

With my current SC plan, I think that is additional $5 per month. Not sure if it is really worth it if it simply sitting there without any usage.

My current plan has 6 lines: 2 base lines as the SC family plan + 3 paid line + 1 free line. Adding this promotion will be my 7th line. My only hope is that after one year when I am eligible to cancel a line, it will remove from the paid line not the free line. Any expert knows what would happen when I cancel a line later? TIA.
It's going to depend upon the specific plan you have, and the terms of the free line on your account. Generally speaking, as long as you don't violate the terms of the free line promotion (in this case, don't cancel any lines for 1 year, keep 2 paid lines + the free line after 1 year), you can cancel a paid line and then wait 90 days to port over the free line, essentially making your current paid line free. You need to be certain that canceling a line isn't going to cause a plan change (on Simple Choice, that seemed to be much harder to do than on One/Magenta), and that the free line already on your account isn't impacted by canceling a line.

If you're on a 2-line base SC plan, then adding a line and canceling a line later on isn't going to impact that. If your free line is from the 2017 This One's on Us, then the terms state you must keep 2 paid lines plus the free line after one year. Since you're well outside the 1 year window for that promo, you can cancel a line without losing the promo. This promo is 2 paid lines plus the free line after 1 year. It sounds like in this scenario you'd end up with 4 paid lines plus 2 free lines, which means you wouldn't be in violation of any terms. You'd be good in that case.

Have a question and hoping someone might notice and help Smilie

Have been a T-Mobile customer for about 4 years now with 2 Lines on TMobileONE with unlimited talk, text and data. Wanted to add the free third line so I texted 611. I was told I can get a new line for free. Then I asked if I can combine it with the Apple Device Promo. The rep told me the offer for XS half off is not stackable with the free line offer. Trying to figure out if it is true or not.

Was anyone able to combine the two offers? Can you please let me know.

Thank you
XS 50% off only if you have MAGENTA type eligible plan.

You have to login 1st into your account (doesnt matter what link you use/see), then go back to Home or just click the T logo.
After opening Web developer mode and going to Network, you have to refresh the page.
Look for "Subscriber," then click "Response" on the right side.

Sorry if this is a very simple question... can I add the 4th line free now and then port in the number I want to use later? Or does the port need to happen at the same time when I add the new line?

He stayed w/i the same category plan "One TI" (tax inclusive) -- just from One All In TI to standard One TI. While you're asking to go from "One TE" to "One TI" which is different category and thus reps are unwilling ...

If you're not taking advantage of a free/discounted phone offer that requires a port-in, you can port anytime later on. The line will still be free.

I admit this was during the end of the Samson era, and supposedly QuickView was designed around clarifying these details up front (less research), but it appears staff are still winging it on call-ins and chat...TForce a bit less. They sure need to communicate promo terms better, to both staff and customers alike.

The pre-paid trade-in shipping label is USPS first class mail; can we pay for insurance on top, at the post office?

Alternatively, I'm thinking of shipping at my cost with insurance.

Any thoughts?
