This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Yes, the free line has nothing to do with your phone purchase (besides being a new line that allows you to get the phone for 50% off with EIP). If you're not sure you actually want the SE, you shouldn't buy it as I think the restocking fee is $50 for smartphones.
Do they still charge restocking fee even the delivery was denied to UPS. ?

I admit this was during the end of the Samson era, and supposedly QuickView was designed around clarifying these details up front (less research), but it appears staff are still winging it on call-ins and chat...TForce a bit less. They sure need to communicate promo terms better, to both staff and customers alike.
They can still do a little bit with changing plans, adding promos back, etc. (at least T-Force can), but that's about it at this point. All the people thinking they've just added 2 lines for free are going to be disappointed. There is no wiggle room for that.

And yeah, promo terms have become less and less specific over the years. I'd much prefer they just post the entire set of terms minus the employee specific items (such as no installs not counting as a cancellation). That way I can make my own decisions.

The free line just showed up under my T-mobile profile, and I received the following text:

T-Mobile message: Congrats! You will receive your promotional service discount as long as you maintain eligibility. View http://t-mo.co/activity for account details.

What the heck does that mean? My plan is not eligible for the free line due to recent line cancellations.

This is what it says in the account:

New line XXX-XXX-XXXX was added to your account on 07/05/2020 at 12:53 AM . This line is on the SimpleChoice Val FAM UnlTT+D plan for $0.0 per month plus taxes and fees.

I was pleased when the monthly began showing the account and line promos, but even this should be enhanced to include verbiage like 'you are using 6 lines currently, on your 8 line account'. This is actually a good sales lead, because it places the growth potential into the customer's mind that he has room to add lines. Similar verbiage could be done in the promo section: 'you have a total of 4 discounted or free lines, out of 8 for your account', again planting the seed for future growth. This would dramatically reduce the chat/IMS/call/TEX/TForce load by pre-answering all these 'do I qualify' questions, as well as reduce research required to answer them when they occur.

Someone posted he got the free line even with cancelation, but the promo fell off after a few days. Maybe just the system catching up with the promo requirements.

I have 6SCFMPRM. Last week T-mo rep added a line and sold me the SE at 50% off. Next day another rep confirmed I am eligible. Third day Tforce said I'm not eligible. What a screw up!

What do you think if a rep added an older free line promo to cover the second free line? Do you think that would stick?

After reading this and noticing my plan (FRLTUL2LP) wasn't eligible (after a rep told me I was all setup) I called back and a different rep told me I wasn't eligible I asked them to switch me to a different grandfather plan (FRLTULF2) for the free line.

I haven't receive a message about the promo line, so we shall see when I get my bill I guess. But I did call today and the rep confirmed my plan code is the switched one, so again, we shall see.

I successfully switched my plan from One All In Promo to One (FRLTULFM2) through T-Force today. Does this looks right with all the discounts (hookup and kickback) ? I used to pay $64 for 3 lines and now $87 for 4 lines.

T-Mobile ONE
$87.00/mo

Applied discounts and promotions:
$10.00 AutoPay Discount
$24.00 Insider Discount
$25.00 This One's on Us (AAL)
$4.00 Insider Discount (Additional Lines)
$10.00 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)
$20.00 2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)

Also, anyone successfully added the One Plus Promo to the 4th line for free?
I was shot down repeatedly today by T-Force when inquiring about switching to FRLTULFM2.

I am ok with my current plan except there is no wiggle room for future promos.

Did you ask for something specifically to allow the plan to be switched, or was it just luck in finding a willing CSR to do it?

should i be worried that the discount doesnt show up in my plan yet? The rep says it will take two cycles but various people have already received it? Its a free line on a ONE plan.

How did you get them to switch

I am trying to do this too. I have FRLTUL2LP. How did you succeed to get FRLTULF2? You called them today?

It's going to depend upon the specific plan you have, and the terms of the free line on your account. Generally speaking, as long as you don't violate the terms of the free line promotion (in this case, don't cancel any lines for 1 year, keep 2 paid lines + the free line after 1 year), you can cancel a paid line and then wait 90 days to port over the free line, essentially making your current paid line free. You need to be certain that canceling a line isn't going to cause a plan change (on Simple Choice, that seemed to be much harder to do than on One/Magenta), and that the free line already on your account isn't impacted by canceling a line.

If you're on a 2-line base SC plan, then adding a line and canceling a line later on isn't going to impact that. If your free line is from the 2017 This One's on Us, then the terms state you must keep 2 paid lines plus the free line after one year. Since you're well outside the 1 year window for that promo, you can cancel a line without losing the promo. This promo is 2 paid lines plus the free line after 1 year. It sounds like in this scenario you'd end up with 4 paid lines plus 2 free lines, which means you wouldn't be in violation of any terms. You'd be good in that case.
I was hoping to cancel a line (free or paid) after one year will automatically shift free line promotion terms to the other lines in the plan. The reason is if I do not violate the promotional terms in my current plan (after one year), I should be still eligible for two free lines after cancelling any one line. How does the system apply 2 free lines to the plan? BTW, my previous free line was from long time ago (don't recall which year). I missed 2017's free line deal and kicked myself not actively followed SD at that time.
