Dewalt DCF887 Impact Driver w/ 2x 2ah batteries, charger and case $140 YMMV

I didn't see this anywhere and it seemed like a good deal for a 20V XR Impact Driver w/ batteries. Truth be told, with all the Lowe's bare tool deals I certainly did not need the extra battery or charger.

I've only posted a few times so please let me know if there's anything I missed!

Showing as $199 for me both in app and on website.

Edit. Showing as clearance on brickseek for a couple of other zips. Good deal at 140.

Also if you have a Lowe's nearby, they have buy this impact bare tool get a free charger and 3 ah bundle right now. YMMV but I was able to price match fasteners inc and got both for $79. The price for the 887 went up to $89 on fasteners inc but still kind of a better deal than this if you can get the price match.

That is violating Lowe's price match policy.

Worth noting: the Home Depot item description says this kit includes 2 DCB203 "2.0 AH 20V Max XR Batteries". The DCB203 is not an XR battery. The kit is still a decent value at $140, but don't expect XR batteries in the mix.

Deal isn't working for me on HD or Brickseek. Anyone know if it's over already?

I would just say to keep looking in the next few days for the upcoming 4 th July sale seems like both HD and Lowe's have been pushing out some good deals on dewalt tools, but this isn't really that great IMO

Do they? This is an interesting development. When I look at batteries on the Dewalt website [dewalt.com], there are no 2.0 AH XR batteries listed (except for the DCB203BT Tool Connect configuration).

I did research on this recently and that was my conclusion. Makes me wonder if there really is a performance difference between xr and non xr batteries. I think it's the same battery and they just slap xr on it if your buying a xr tool

According to Dewalt all current batteries are XR and its a marketing term being phased out
