The negative reviews [amazon.com] are a bit worrisome.

I've bought them a few times and got different levels/one bottle destroyed. I don't think they are fake (I assume Amazon is using a trusted supplier) but I do think GermX has lowered their packaging standards to get as much of this stuff to market as possible given the supply issues. For the most part, I've been very happy to have it, even though the packaging quality control has been lacking.

I just got my order yesterday and my experience echos what all of the negative reviews state - loose caps, 2 leaked in the box, inconsistent levels, product not sealed in any way, etc. You kind of want to give them the benefit of the doubt that it's legit Germ-X, but even if you're cranking them out at a record pace, the caps feel like my arthritic grandma screwed them on and the labels aren't properly placed.

The product is definitely runnier than usual and has a stale liquor smell, but not nearly as bad as the Equate one.

I called Germ-X's manufacturer to get some insight and hoping they will call me back soon. Amazon offered a refund, but I would put a red flag on this stuff..especially with CDC sayings some of the knockoff brands are sending people to the hospital.

I've ordered two for my household and three more for others. I did not notice much difference. I've never had sealed hand sanitizer. They have all come simply capped for as long as I can remember. I think people are mis-remembering. For example, with ones with pumps can't have an internal seal and if you look at the photos, there is no external one.

I've had one bottle bust open during shipment. it was a loose cap. Amazon refunded me.

As for someone's beef with inactive ingredients. That is, 'water'. The FDA only requires listing the quantities of active ingredients. For inactive ingredients they should be listed in alphabetical order for normal OTC drugs.

For drugs that are also cosmetics, the inactive ingredients should be listed in order of quantity.

The bottle on the left has a direct form of vitamin E and a agent to help the skin absorb it. Thus, has cosmetic benefits. Poster received a bottle of Moisturizing with vitamin E vs simply Moisturizing. So, it changed the order of water in the list, not the quantity in any measure.

Please are just in freak out mode.

Yeah I also received mine yesterday. Doesn't smell as good as regular sanitizer from before quarantine, but not as bad as my Equate 60 oz.

There were some loose caps, but luckily not a lot of spillage.

I'm thinking I should return my Equate to Walmart? Are they requiring people to send it back?

I ordered. Figure it'll either be fine, or I'll return it without issue. Not really a big deal.

I went to the GERMX website and view all products. They do not show a 32oz bottle.
Yet a google search shows other retailers selling that size.

I just got mine 2 days ago & it is not the same formula but rather kind of nasty! I bought this before the pandemic & still had a bottle & they clearly are not the same. Do not reccommend-someone is skimping on somethign to make a $$$. There is the nice clean smell missing-pitch!!
