New one can often be bundled with their battery deals. Cancelling batteries makes it $65 which is how much I paid. I think new is worth $10 extra.

When was the last time that sale occurred?

Sadly, back in November. I've been waiting for it to come back, but I'm in no hurry. This is a good price. Friends have bought CPO with barely a blemish, but my thing is that I want the HP batteries so I can maximize the brushless power. I'm going to wait.

this CPO is the brushless model which isn't eligible with the current HD battery bundle deal.

The one you can bundle with the Batteries is not this brushless model.

It was brushless. Deal was 2 x 3ah batteries and free tool. Brushless saw was one of the tools.

I picked mine up end of April but those deals happen all the time so unless you need one right away I'd wait.

Correct. It included a few if the brushless tools like this circular, the jigsaw, and the p238 impact. I bought a few of those deals with the 3AH HP batteries back in January when that deal was still live.

The current sale is 4AH batteries and I don't believe any brushless tool options. Still a good deal but different.

Has anyone been to one of their stores? In my experience, outside of the used drills and impact drivers, the prices really aren't good at all. Is my impression accurate?

I feel the same way. There are a few decent things to be found, but nothing super slick. DT pricing seems to be in the middle of the road between the sweet Ryobi deals and full price. Like this deal a used entry level bush-less saw for $60. It's a fair price, if you need a saw soon not bad.
