Just read a bunch of reviews on various sites. Many say it tops working and the company keeps sending a replacement but then start asking customers to pay for shipping. I'm going to pass.

If it's the relays that die, you can replace them for about $3 each.
Or just get one of the many multi packs on Amazon that go for about $7 per plug. The Etekcity ones haven't given me any trouble and they can be flashed to work offline.
I have one, they aren't high quality however they sent a replacement without issue. We had ours facing the wrong way so it didn't help. Haven't bothered putting it outside yet, need string lights.
I have 4 I got for $5 each last year at Wal-Mart and they work great. I prefer the kasa plugs overall because these don't have a sunrise sunset option in the schedule on the Geni app. I'll get a few more if I can. I have two outdoors that have been working for a year however both are in hobby boxes and protected from rain. The other two controlled Christmas lights and we're exposed to the environment.

If you have Alexa you can set all your schedules in there with sunrise and sunset, you can even do offsets such as 15 minutes after sunset. Still I prefer an outdoor smart plug to have more than one outlet.

It has been posed back in May at the same price. Good chance to have some ghost inventory.
Also, this one is 10 amp only.
