This came up in another deal for the stainless version but deserves a thread of it's own. The anodized versions seldom reach this price point. From what I see on a certain website this is a all time low and the previous lowest price was $36. Amazon has it for $30.84 but but if you do not see the $28.81 price see the other sellers tab and buy from Bereli with free shipping

It's a small knife please be aware of what you are buying. This version has the stone wash blade.

Appears that the deal might be dead already. Amazon has jumped their price to $39.99 and Bereli is not showing up as a seller. Sometimes it is worth keeping an eye out as it might come back into stock at the lower price.

Bereli is still showing up for me as the default seller, but at the $39.99 price. I bought this last night at $28.81, at which point Amazon.com was the default seller. I agree that it's worth keeping an eye on. I think if it pops back into stock with Amazon as the seller, then it might drop back to the ~$30 price point.

Glad to see someone got in. When I bought Amazon was the $30 and Bereli only showed up after a page refresh at the 28 price. As you say when things get strange like that on Amazon they sometimes have a way of coming in and out of stock at various prices. Algorithms have a mind of their own.

Got my Chive today. Perfect size for my purposes, and the speedsafe opening works great. It's nicely made. However, there's some extra friction in the pivot...a little more than I'd like (at least, relative to my Leek). It's a bit more difficult to close than it should be. I'll keep working it. Maybe I'll add a drop of oil to see if that helps.

Mine arrived the other day as well, and you just need to flip it a few times like 20x. From there, it should pop out very easily. Careful not to strip the pivot screw - HF!

The pivot screw is T6.
