Lowe's is running the same promotions. Also, the Ring Floodlight camera is $199 (normally $249) with free Echo Show 5 as well.

Lowes Ring Cams [lowes.com]
The battery powered one is different from the wired one in more ways than simply power, and almost every single complaint about Ring cameras is because people don't understand the difference. The battery powered Ring cameras are crippled in a lot of ways to conserve battery, and everything is for the worse. The battery version does not have custom motion zones or continuous recording, and the cooldown between recordings is quite lengthy. Connectivity is also an issue because the camera tries to save battery by not keeping the connection active all the time. Slow response times for live view are a staple complaint. Please don't buy a battery powered Ring device unless you absolutely know what you are doing.
The amazon link is the same as Stick up cam elite.

In case you were wondering the difference, as I was, between all the cameras:

The main difference between Stick Up Cam Battery, Stick Up Cam Plug-In, Stick Up Cam Solar and Stick Up Cam Elite is how they receive power.

Stick Up Cam Battery is powered by the Quick-Release Battery Pack. You can also purchase the Indoor/Outdoor Power Adapter (sold separately) to connect Stick Up Cam Battery to standard outlets for nonstop power. Or you can connect it to a Solar Panel (sold separately) to keep your camera charged with direct sunlight.

Stick Up Cam Plug-In is powered by an AC adapter that plugs into standard power outlets. You can also purchase a Quick-Release Battery Pack (sold separately) for backup power.

Stick Up Cam Solar comes with a Solar Panel as well as a Quick-Release Battery Pack. The Solar Panel requires direct sunlight to keep your device charged. But with the Quick-Release Battery Pack, your camera will have backup power in case you don't have enough sunlight.

Stick Up Cam Elite uses Power over Ethernet for nonstop power and a reliable connection. It comes with a PoE Adapter that must be placed indoors and plugged into your router in order to power up and connect your Stick Up Cam to the internet.

Another difference between the Stick Up Cams is the mounting bracket. Stick Up Cam Battery, Stick Up Cam Plug-In and Stick Up Cam Solar can be placed on flat surfaces or mounted to a wall, but you will need to purchase a Mount for Stick Up Cam (sold separately) if you'd like to install them on your ceiling or eaves. Stick Up Cam Elite, however, comes with a mounting bracket that lets you place it on walls, ceilings and flat surfaces like a table or shelf without the need to purchase any additional accessories.

Wired or battery? Which one is better? I don't want to have to deal with changing batteries all the time

I bought one wired and one battery. I bought the wired because it's plug-in, and I have outdoor plugs available in high areas (for holiday lights). If I didn't have the outdoor plugs, I would definitely go with the battery.

FYI - the battery model can take an extra battery and also a solar panel. Solar is an intriguing option.

Too bad the show 5 is garbage other than as an alarm clock and has poor voice detection. I am guessing there is going to be a new spotlight cam soon with this and the recent solar panel 40% off deal.

If you get the battery, the solar panel is a must. The battery only lasts 2-3 weeks with typical use, the 6 months ring claims Is if you live in the middle of nowhere and have no motion detection. Pretty much unrealistic

Does the Echo Show 5 need to be plugged in? Can I use it as a portable baby monitor?

Link to solar panel? I have a battery one and it doesn't last a month facing the road.

No, it's plugged in. As someone with a two year old I highly recommend a no frills dedicated monitor. The monitors that go through your phone or an Echo do not work as well.
