I love these things. They help me go to the restroom.
These are (or used to be) at Five Below for... you guessed it, $5.

I would like one for my office for the water sound, but the reviews say the motor is loud and you can't hear the water.

Probably true. I have a cat water fountain and I hear the thing running in the master bathroom while I'm sleeping. The pump gets louder as it gets older too. But you might be able to buy a quieter pump and swap it out.

Mind you. Most of them are returns. Bought in last deal, exchanged twice. Still facing issues with leaks. Though I ordered big ones.

I have one of these. I got it from walmart some months back for 5$ clearance. It's good to watch in noisy surroundings but in a quiet env it acts as a white noise because of the motor.

Mine did too until I took it all apart and cleaned it really well. It runs very smooth again. You can order new filters and should replace them every few months. Probably have to replace the entire unit after some time too.

Huh, so looks like they're cheap and can be had for less. I'm interested in a few like these to put near my humidity-loving plants.
