Use a UV flashlight to charge these up. They glow like crazy after shining a light on them for 10-20secs.

These bigger/smaller than a tennis ball?

EDIT: 2.5 inches, about same or tad smaller than a tennis ball

Yes they're about the same size as a tennis ball.

I bought this in May for the same price. The balls don't glow very bright.

Same with me. It was the orange ones that I saw on here.

I bought these for my kids last time around, ages 3 and 5. Shine them at bedtime. They like 'em and half the time they're still holding 'em when I wake them in the morning. (They have real toys too so don't worry!)

Might buy a couple more for outdoor use or maybe I need a dog.

My dogs love these more than any other fetch ball. They last much longer than the tennis ball style chuck it balls. Grabbing some for back up.

I have exactly the opposite experience -- they glow very bright, and they glow absurdly long.

Like another poster, I gave one of these to one of my kids, who sleeps with it. It's charged under a 60w-equivalent bulb, albeit at a distance of only a few inches, for 3-5 minutes while he brushes his teeth -- and the thing is still faintly glowing when he wakes up the next day. It's the most impressive glow-in-the-dark material I've encountered, by quite a good margin.

And as yet-another poster pointed out, they charge very quickly under a UV flashlight, and even decently with a cell-phone flashlight.
