Staples is a bunch of crap. I ordered the AllSteel Relate chair from the last sale. They sent me one in wrong color and it was broken on arrival. I returned it, but was not able to get a replacement since it is out of stock online and is not available at the stores near me.

I talked to the customer service, that's when I found out the promotional coupons that I had used are now gone and I cannot use them again. They would not price match to a similar chair either. I am tired of their bullshit.

I really suggest you skip Staples chairs and get yourself a Herman Miller Aeron (or Steelcase which is in the same league). It's absolutely worth the extra bucks, and you can get a second hand one for less than half the price. Mine's been going strong for 9 years now.

Should've used the warranty to get replacement parts. Obviously if it's out of stock they can't get another one. Coupons are rarely replaceable with any retailer.

All that said, they should've tried to do something at the store to make it right, but in my experience nothing they could have done would have satisfied and the customer would still go around complaining about the experience despite accepting the resolution. Maybe that's the cynic in me, but that is why I got out after 10 years of retail management.

Yes, you are correct, but this definitely left a bad experience for me with Staples.
