Does a TV have USB-C? Does a TV have better color accuracy than this? Stop talking out of your ass.
I got your point, except this monitor only covers 96% sRGB with 1000:1 static contrast ratio at 60Hz, 350 cd/m, pretty mediocre for color, no HDR either. this aimed squarely at stock traders and coders.

for 600 dollars, you could actually buy a TV that has better color: Hisense 55H9F, or 65H9F for 800 dollars.
they are HDR, 93% DCI P3 (remember 100% srgb is like 80% DCI-P3), 120Hz refresh rate, 500 cd/m with static contrast of 6000:1. pretty much destroys this monitor in all color front.

and here is the thing. you could just buy the LG 42 inch monitor for 450 USD at costco that has the same spec (and yes, they come with USB C as well)

I'm guessing this was tongue in cheek, but most TVs don't make good monitors. The subpixel layouts and other factors make using them frustrating. More importantly, this particular monitor can display four inputs at once. It's pretty specialized and awesome.

Easiest way would be to wait it out. I'm sure they'll remove one once the returns gets back to them. Not sure what to do if you have to use it right away.
So after some long waits, The customer service rep figured out that she could resend the gift card link tied to the order I will be keeping. That was the only way.

Got both $100 GC and $120 Amex already. I ordered the day this deal was up. GC came from email address Dell Gift Cards <[email protected]>

But seriously, people are returning flat monitors because they THINK it's bending backwards? There's no expertise needed to see if it's really flat, put up anything with straight edge, ruler, piece of paper, your tablet, a box, another flat screen monitor, a book, anything. If they match up, then it's your brain getting used to the curved ones.
Well ok, yeah, but the vast majority of people aren't familiar with how curved monitors can cause some lingering image distortion when going from using a curved monitor to flat, and that it can make a flat monitor look like the panel is bowed. I've been using monitors for decades and have never heard of or experienced this issue. Information on this is not that easy to find either. It takes some digging. I then saw many people stating they thought something was wrong with the panel when they experienced this, so it's not that crazy for that to be someone's initial reaction. Most people don't know anything about panel construction or engineering and a person could overthink it and question if a panel enclosure could appear to be straight and the panel inside the enclosure perhaps not being straight. But anyway, it's good to know the panel is probably good and hopefully this phenomenon doesn't last too long.

This deal is derived from Dell UltraSharp 27 4K USB-C Monitor. Credit goes to noggenfogger. This deal is very sweet with $100 GC and $120 credit from AMEX (YMMV), potentially make the final price to $491.

Dell has Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Monitor: U4320Q [dell.com] for $1099 - $260 instant savings = $790. Apply 10% off coupon STAND4SMALL to drop the price to $711. Shipping is free with free upgrade to expedite 2nd business day shipping.

06/30 EDIT: 10% off coupon STAND4SMALL seems dead. Alternatively, you may sign up [dell.com] for Dell emails and get an unique 10% off code which usually arrives within 30 minutes after signup.

06/30 EDIT 2: Dell has reactivated the 10% off coupon STAND4SMALL. It is good again for the purchase.

The purchase will come with $100 Dell Gift Card that will be sent by email within 20 days and will expire 90 days from issuance.

For those who have AMEX $120 off $600 offer, the cost will be further down to $591 after $120 credit from AMEX.

* Applicable sales tax will be added to the final price.*

The 3% Dell Reward is not available for American Express card. I got $120 email from American Express already.

I have been look at Dell to see what I can order without adding too much money. There are nothing much except some MSRP keyboard or sound bar.

With the $100 GC? What about a hard drive?

Thinking about using the $100 gift card with the $120 Amex offer I have on a second card but not sure what higher value item I would buy. A second 43" monitor? U4320Q triple monitor setup would be crazy.

Coming from a Dell U3415W curved ultrawide, I'm definitely experiencing that optical illusion of the new flat monitor looking like it curves away from me. It's disorienting. I'm hoping time will help!

As for the size, I cut a cardboard mock-up just to see what it would look like on my desk before I pulled the trigger - and while that was accurate, it's another thing entirely to see it in person.

For the price, it's pretty nice. It'll take some time to get used to I'm sure.

I'm still using my 39" Seiki bought 6 years ago from TigerDirect for $284 after $50 rebate. This thing just won't die.

Ours is 8 years old, the 32" bought for about $60 from a Sears deal (boy I miss those point churning deals).

Anyone with U4320Q see a faint light thin translucent line going across the very top of the screen a millimeter or two below the top bezel? Ran diagnostics with cable unplugged and I see this in the grey diagnostics screen as well. Two other Dell 23" monitors I have have the same thing across the top of that too which I had never noticed before. Need to have a light background, like off white, light gray or light blue to see it. Maybe it's normal?

It is good idea, but Dell is selling $20-30 higher than most place.

Anyone game on this? Would 60fps single player @4K be decent, I have Acer 32in which was $1299 when it came out years ago, much better panel then some newer units I used. I have $200 in rewards and amex offer too. Also 10 percent CB today at BF! Either this or XPS 13 are my choices to spend this, maybe have another dell unique code I get them periodically just need to check my PO box.

Certain cashback portals are offering between 8-10% CB since last couple days for Dell. Which means this monitor can now be had for $711 after coupon - 10% - $120 Amex credit = $519.89 not including taxes.
