Don't consider this a SD due to its refurb condition
1. This is a refurb and you have no idea how old it is so you have no idea how long the warranty will last. I believe this tool came out in 2013 so you very well may get no warranty with it.
2. This is a refurb and you have no idea how it was refurbed (if it actually ever was)
3. You can get this cheaper and classified as "factory refurb" from an authorized dealer with a 1 year warranty (link here[acmetools.com])

Ive ordered a bunch of grade A or like new stuff from VIP OUTLET and it all come in new condition. If i told you they were refurbs you wouldnt believe it. All the things I bought are working just fine and I have full confidence in them.
Must feel good when people have no idea what they purchased
Your right, the 2780-20 is brushless, runs 500 rpm slower, and may last longer, but mine suits my needs. Sorry I was not clear and off by one digit, which I offer to you.😂

Brushed vs brushless is a big difference but glad it suits your needs. It was a good deal but so is this for those that need the Fuel version
You can get a brand new one for $111.96 plus tax using the Milwaukee Battery Deal. This one is "seller" refurbished and not refurbished from the factory.
This is what it states in the description.
Seller refurbished: An item that has been restored to working order by the eBay seller or a third party not approved by the manufacturer. This means the item has been inspected, cleaned, and repaired to full working order and is in excellent condition. This item may or may not be in original packaging. See the seller's listing for full details. See all condition definitions

Personally I'd wait on a deal on their electric brake paddle switch version (2783-20).
1. This is true. I stated that it's a Refurb in the title so anyone who clicked the link should have already acknowledged this unless they are clicking random links without reading titles.
2. With any refurb, of course there's a chance you don't know what was actually done. This is why you look at who's selling the product, check their reviews, and make a decision about their credibility. This seller happens to have 284,000+ positive reviews and they claim "Grade A Like New Retail Ready" on the item page. They also have a 90 day warranty clearly stated on the item page. Then, you have ebay and paypal backing you up as well. I thought this was a site for people who are looking for value over convenience and cost. I will gladly take a small chance with a very reputable seller who is selling an item for the lowest price available on ebay with an individual return policy that is backed by ebay and paypal. If you don't feel the same, more power to you. It's confusing that you are arguing about the idea of a refurb when the title clearly already states it's a refurb.
3. Uh... that grinder deal has been around for a long time and I assume there's a reason it never made it onto this site.
