This inaccurate statement is going around. While this Anker dongle only does 4k30, you don't need Thunderbolt 3 to do 4k60. The Hyperdrive gen2 does 4k60 over USB-C.

1. PD power delivery is 85w max to laptop, not 100w pass through on title. the hub itself reserve 15w power all the time. If you have a 60w charger, it will only provide 45w to your laptop.
2. USB-C is data only, it can't even accept USB-C - Displayport cable to output display signal.
3. USB-A only provide 500mA x 5v output on iPhone, charging is really slow.
4. HDMI is 4k30p only.
5. Can't use both SD and microSD at the same time

Wish it had more USB ports. I have a USB C to 4 port hub hooked up to it and hidden in a cable management box. It daisy chaining is fine, even passively as long as you're not running any high power devices on it.
