It depends on what you use it for. Sony is very good with upscaling and c9 is good for gaming. For movies and general content Sony a9 is very good. Again that doesn't justify such a big price difference. But depending on the use case I would go with either and not just based on price.
The picture processing of this TV combined with the OLED black levels is amazing

If Sony remains superior over Vizio like it has done in the last no need to wait....if this TV is in your budget

The more and more companies that start offering OLED, like Vizio eventually, this will drive prices down across the board. If you don't need it now, better off waiting
Vizio also doesn't have a 77" version.
The market is pretty saturated already with three brands making OLEDs from LG panels
I also hear that LG is not making money on their OLED panels at this time...so dont expect the mass price drops
There will be trickles but not mass drops like there were 3-4 years ago
