My experience may not be helpful to anyone except those who are interested in one person's SanDisk warranty process for this card.

On 02/26/2019, I purchased this card at a then-deal price of $77.90 (prices have dropped a lot!). I used this card in my Samsung Galaxy S9 for 8 months, and then my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ for 6 months. It became corrupted, and I tried to format it different ways, using the Note 10+ phone itself, as well as my PC; I was able to transfer my files out during one lucky time, but couldn't get my phone and PC to recognize the card again without them requiring that I format the card.

The following was my online warranty process:

05/18/2020: I submitted online warranty for SanDisk SD card
05/18/2020: My RMA was approved
05/19/2020: I was given a UPS return shipping label given
05/21/2020: I shipped out the defective SD card
06/05/2020: SanDisk stated the defective SD card was received
06/05/2020: SanDisk stated the return has been verified, and stated a ship date of 06/08/2020
06/08/2020: SanDisk stated a new card has been shipped, and gave tracking number
06/10/2020: SanDisk sent survey requesting feedback of support
06/22/2020: I received a new SD card in an unopened retail package
There was a complete turnaround time of 35 calendar days.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic
If you don't use your 400GB card why would you buy a 512GB card if it hit that price? laugh out loud

Typically $62.99, now a better price than I have seen previously.

That's a great discount. You could also use the adapter, they're not getting any more common, and SD card slots are still very much present on computers (well, laptops)

can probably attribute some of that to COVID-19 and the rioting.

Attribute the corruption of my card to COVID-19 and rioting? Or do you mean the turnaround time? I was personally fine with how long it took, especially because they were upfront about the whole process.

Update: I don't know why I'd be confused at all when I first read your comment... lol. That's obviously and definitely on me.

Tempting but I already have a 400 I neglect. I'd love to see this price for a 512. Hopefully we'll see something sub $50 by November.

Would you know if the process would be similarly pain free(free return shipping label) if done in Canada?
