I use a mostly stock ender 3 and am happy with it. But it does require effort and tweaking. I did upgrade the springs and put on a PEI bed, but that's it.
As someone else mentioned above, this isn't the official creality store and in the 3d printing groups there is a lot of complaints on the shipping times and a lot never receiving the product. Just keep that in mind if you do order.
Could you pitch to us what makes this one better than the Ender 3 Pro?
I just bit on this sale, but am willing to cancel the order if it is significantly better.
Mega S has touchscreen, filament runout sensor, and more stable Z and Y axes. The mainboard is probably different, but better or worse I do not know.
Both the Ender 3 Pro and Mega have good PSUs. The non-Pro Ender 3 has a crappy PSU.
The axes are more stable because the Mega S has dual Z screws instead of the single one the Ender 3 uses, and it has two separated rails for the Y axis instead of the one crappy extruded aluminum + nylon roller that Ender 3 uses.
I have two Ender 3 Pros. I've never used the Mega S, but it looks like an interesting option. I'd want to read reviews of it and see some real use comparisons before deciding between them.

I'd rather get Anycubic Mega S for $240+. Not the cheapest option but the slight addition frees you from all the hassles.
Interesting. I haven't heard of that one.
great printer? sure...
reliable and consistent? that's a stretch
I pre-ordered the Ender 3 v2 a few months ago and it shipped a couple days ago, scheduled delivery for today

Two things completely worth it, 40x40 Y rail and a meanwell PSU (namebrand). I took the magnetic build sheet as an added bonus.
This Ender 3 Pro listing states it includes a meanwell PSU.
What is the comparison of the 40x40 Y rail that the Ender 3 Pro doesn't have?
