When I bought one in April from bb it was a wd120emfz. You do need to use the kapton tape trick to get your system to recognize it if you shuck it. (Cover the 3rd pin with kapton tape? I don't remember, google it.)
I really shouldn't have but I got one anyway. I had three 4TB drives and I had one left to replace/retire. With everything that's going on in the world right now, you're not going to get much better of a deal with this.

It depends on your backplane/PSU if you will need to cover the pin when shucking the drive. I don't know about the most recent generation of QNAP/Synology NAS's, but the 2018 and older ones do not have an issue with these drives.
