I think it's a pretty good deal, something I'd buy my toddler son. Walmart has it listed for $5.35, plus the reviews are pretty good.

I don't know how "new" you are but my daughter just turned 2. She got her first set of this brand at 18 months and loves them. She gets really frustrated with the Megablocks first builders we got her because they fall apart really easily. So YMMV but this brand has been the best for us.

Awww! Congratulations! I see these on sale fairly often at Target/Walmart/Amazon so if you don't want to store it, it'll probably go on sale again close to age appropriate for your little one.

Thanks again! And I'll keep that in mind... Don't want to start stashing up too much already.

I got the 81 piece set of these leapfrog leapbuilders blocks on amazon for $4.72 plus tax on March 23, 2020. I gave it to my daughter when she was about 9 months old and she has loved these blocks already. She is 1 yr old now and she can sort of pull them apart and she understands how they go together but can't put them together herself. But even so, she loves the bright colors and plays with the towers we build for her. I don't think it's even necessary to wait until the age recommendation for these. If you see them at a good price, they are worth getting!

I just picked up this set as well and there is one more set I want that recently went on sale but i missed it. There is an animal set that includes the interactive star cube and it was on sale for under $5 recently.
