Good price. The product description here says medium roast, but the one (same SKU) says light roast.

Where does slickdeal get the product description from?

It's confusing because the title and bag say light roast but then the Lavazza product description clearly rates it 6 out of 10 on intensity and calls it medium....

I wonder if "Light Italian Roast" would be the description they were going for? Why it would be called a medium. for

Eiither way, light roasts to me should be region specific, ie: Sidamo, so you can discern those profiles.

If you want to buy coffee on Amazon, I recommend fresh roasted coffee LLC. They have a ton of varieties and if picking up 5lbs, you can get a bag for $7-8 per lb. Not a slick deal, but gross coffee isn't a deal at any price. Being a sd'er, I've given lavazza a few too many chances.
Also, highly recommend blue macaw coffee roasters on eBay. Pricier, but great quality beans.

Why would you want the Italian roast? It's overroasted and about as bad as it gets.

Why? Light roasts are actually properly roasted and have more caffeine.

Dark roasts are burnt beans.
