I just got told this week to take our dog off of grain free food. I know it's been a long debated topic but it sounds like it's really becoming a bad thing now. Not trying to persuade anyone not to buy this, but I was shocked when the vet told me because the last time I did research grain-free was the way to be.
I love pets and and if they enjoy the product then by all means. But I just wanted to let you know for those who care that blue buffalo been sued for false advertising on not having by product meat and also grain free.

Blue Buffalo has admitted to their false advertising. Not sure if this is a company you want to support. There are a lot of good dog food brands that deserve your loyalty that have a true care for what is going into your pets. Feel free to Google about blue buffalo on what vets think about it.

I think integrity is very important to a company.
Have to agree with you here, our previously healthy dog was diagnosed with congestive heart failure via dilated cardiomyopathy after about 2 years on grain free food from this same brand. Of note, her breed is not genetically predisposed to CHF/DCM.

She's now on multiple medications to help minimize any further damage, most likely for her now shortened life.

An FDA website for this topic can be found here:

Please do your research and most importantly, speak with your vet about what you feed your pets

It's a steal at this price. How long are the bags good for? I feed this exact kind to my dog and I've never paid attention. I dump it in an air tight container so I don't have the bag to look at.

Same. Was just telling my wife about this deal and we are going to check the expiration dates when they arrive in a few days just to be sure.

Typically dry dog food has a shelf life of 12-18 months. So as long as it hasn't been sitting on the shelf for a long time, it should be good. Picked up 3 for me and my dogs go through about a bag a month

Speak with your vet, do your dog really need to be on a grain free diet?

does this guarantee me locking in the price of this product if I stay subscribed? I don't mind subscribing if this is what the price will be ultimately.
