Vostro is Dell's "small business" product line, it was introduced 13 years ago in 2007. Sits sort of in between Inspiron and Latitude ranges with a mix of features and support from both
Had the total come to $1200 you can split payment and use a second amex offer on a different card which I had for 12,000 MR points.
Thanks, this makes the deal even more sweet. Got a 15% off coupon a few minutes after using that link, and ended up getting this laptop + 4 years of ProSupport Plus + a 15" laptop sleeve for $1200.98 after tax. After splitting this across two AMEX's that each had the spend $600/get $120 back offer, + 4% cashback from a certain frugal website, my net cost was $915. At that price, it's hard to find a better deal on a spec'd out laptop like this with such a good warranty.

NOTE: Fingerprint Reader is mentioned as optional in the landing page. However, once you add this to CART and then click on View Full Spec; you will see that "Fingerprint Palmrest,Element Thunderbolt palmrest, tie with backlit &Non-Backlit KB"
Is this display 16:10? I assume this is basically XPS 15.
It is 1080P, not 1200P or FHD+. The Product page clearly states that as well.
And this Laptop is not the Business version of new XPS 9500. This is more of a hybrid between the previous generation XPS 15 7950 and the design, port selection are exactly same, but the internal hardware of current gen XPS 15 9500 with Comet Lake Core Processor and GTX 1650 Ti.

This really is a great deal. It also has Windows 10 Pro and the 4 year onsite warranty with accidental damage protection and keep your hard drive is only $150.06. Thanks OP, this has bumped some of the other choices off of my list. I really wanted to purchase from Costco because of the warranty but the price Dell is offering this Prosupport warranty at takes away my must buy from Costco thinking.
Any ideas on what the battery life of this would be / the thermal performance? Gaming laptop specs with a business laptop look/weight would be really nice (red backlit keyboards are not for me), but worried about overheating or poor battery life.

Edit, the screen is 300nits.
What's different about Prosupport and "basic" accidental damage?

Backlit can be turned on or off by using Fn + F6 and F7 keys in Dell laptops.

Edit: it's a 16:9 display 1920x1080.
Nope. 1920x1080.
