Is this clad in metal or that same shitty plastic Dyson has used for years? I have the lesser floor model and it's hideous with all the grey plastic. You'd think for close to 400 bucks you'd get some metal.

It's plastic. I have the TP04 in this color and it looks really nice. Much better than the white color. It's probably why Dyson.com kept it as an exclusive color.

This was $299.00 this past November with a free EXTRA filter. They are probably going to do another deal this fall. I bought 2 at this price. Just my opinion.

Just in case anyone gets promo emails from Dyson I was sent a 20% off email on 6/30 (Good Till 7/12). Which stacked with this price. So my cost was $255 + tax (so $271.35 shipped). Not bad.

Not bad at all for I think this should be at most $150. It is so loud at higher speeds that if you are sleeping it'll wake you up and you think WW3 has started.
