Agree.
And I don't always want a big honking battery on my compact flashlight, drill, etc.

I've only seen the 2 port charger. Nothing close to the 6 port 'super charger' of Ryobi. Does something like that exist or do you have to make something custom?
Ridgid doesn't have too many bare tool deals so typically they include batteries and chargers with LSA's.
I'm curious if Ridgid has a built in overdischarge.
I have a project and wanted to use Ridgid batteries but I'm afraid if I may overdischarge it
and end up killing the cells. Some tools have this feature in the tool and not sure about Ridgid.
I want to see if I can buy an adapter and use it on other tools too.
It really depends on what you're doing. I know I wouldn't want to deal with a 4ah battery weight if I'm drilling/screwing overhead often.
Bonus of these little packs is they are light enough that you could keep one in your toolbelt. When you run through one, have your gopher swap it out so you always have a fresh spare.
