I'm googling around and reviews seem mixed. Anyone have it?

I have it. It sounds great, bass is nice. The lights, are a little gimmicky, I wish they synced to the music. Also, it works fine playing music from Spotify, but you can't pair this with other Echo devices to play music simultaneously.

I bought it for $90. The sound is brilliant. However, there is 0.x second delay when watching video.
Anyone have similar problem?

Would you say the sound is brilliant for a smart speaker or brilliant overall? This is my main question when looking at reviews, etc. whether it is being contextualized with other smart speakers or with speakers in general. I was going to get the H/K Soundsticks because I love this look they do and the sound quality has always been great with the sticks, but as an integrated smart device and speaker this would be great. I just still don't know if this "360 sound" is really comparable to the stereo sound you get with the two sticks.

It works with any app that works with a regular echo. What I meant by it doesn't work with other echo devices is, in the Alexa app you can create a group of echos for example the group can be called "DownStairs Echos" and it can be comprised of your "Kitchen Echo," "Living Room Echo," etc. And when you go to spotify and try to cast, not only will all the individual echos show, but also the group "DownStairs Echos." When you select the group, all Echos will play simultaneously and in sync. The Allure however, since it doesn't appear to be a native Amazon product, will not integrate into that group. You can still play individually to it, it just won't participate with other echos. This is of course as of late last year, I gave the Allure to my mom as I have switched from the Echo ecosystem to Google Home. The Google/Nest Home ecosystem doesn't have this issue as I have JBL speakers, Nest Hubs all grouped togther.
