Was posted on a facebook ad I came across and did my research before posting it to ensure it was a quality product first. I'm going camping 4 times in July/August in hot areas, so every 18650 battery powered product I can find I typically jump on when on sale. I have around fifty 18650 batteries due to my flashlight and electronic hobbies.

The people who post these typically are using affiliate programs on Amazon to get paid for selling products. I simply remove the ad and posted it in it's rawest form to share my finds. I should honestly start affiliating like everyone else here though. Could probably make a decent side gig income. I just prefer being helpful since the internet is here to help spread information to those who otherwise wouldn't have access to the information.
I am not affiliated with this product but have been looking for a small 18650 powered fan for camping/fishing in summer. I don't think you can find a cheaper price than this since most 18650 batteries alone cost $3.50-$6.00 depending on brand/vendor.

Coupon code for discount = 55WY8UFJ (takes $8.24 off price)

Someone is bound to miss the coupon code and say they can't see the right price.
I have at least ten of the 18650 fans, at least four different models. They're all good*. Usually built pretty solid, but sometimes with some ridiculous flaw - one model of clip-on loosens until you can't aim it anymore. There's no bearing or axle there, it turns around a screw. Or the micro USB charging port is not aligned properly with the housing.

Also, the battery included is trash relative to what you might have if you're a BLF member, for example. So don't view this as a cheap way to get cells.

But - they all blow really hard for the size. They beat the absolute daylight out of the AA-powered models you might remember from camp. Rechargeability is also a fantastic feature that should not be underestimated.

Regular price on 18650 fans in general is in the $12 to $16 range, a little more for the two-battery units. They're worth scooping up when they have coupon codes.

*Except for the weird bendy ones you can wear around your neck, like an old-timey ox yoke. Those are uniformly crap, even the ones that didn't arrive broken. Avoid all of those.

I use this for my infant if we are going to be outside in the heat for a long time. Cools both me and him off when I wear him in the baby carrier

I just bought two 18650 batteries from my local smoke shop for $10 each so I could use it with my vape that day when my batteries died. This is a good deal!
Be careful with that. Not all 18650s are the same. Vapes have been known to explode and hurt people badly due to poor battery usage. I would not use this battery in another device. I would also do research on the exact specs your vape needs. There are high drain, normal drain, protected, unprotected, button top, flat top, etc.

Personally I am a huge fan of the Samsung 30Q for products that require high drain unprotected batteries for most my flashlights but you would NEVER use one of those in a vape if you didn't want to blow up your hand.

Almost all 18650 sellers state "DO NOT USE WITH E-CIGARETTE, VAPORIZER, OR SIMILAR DEVICE"; you should only use specific batteries with your vape which requires research on your end.

Yes; it comes with a USB cord for this. When running on USB the fan is limited to 1 speed. I assume the battery gives it a lot more compare than the USB.

Why wouldn't it go in the black plastic motor housing in the back?
