you should not put oil on teflon pans for storage, it serves no purpose.

Teflon is inert, it doesn't absorb oil, or degrade without oil, it can't polymerize with the oil i.e. there is no seasoning possible. It's just silly advice unless you want pans to be greasy, trap dust, or sticky and hard to clean if you leave the oil on them long enough in storage.

I don't agree with this advice.
You are terribly misinformed and clearly didn't pay attention Dark Waters if what you got out of it is TEFLON BAD.

Teflon is NOT toxic, PFOA which is a byproduct of old teflon manufacturing is believed to be toxic.

PFOA free does not mean non-teflon, it means the teflon has been manufactured with a more costly processes that assures that PFOA residue is not in the teflon.

Please be fully informed before spreading fake news.
Still haven't gotten my three rebates from them from last year. Won't do rebates either.

if you are on a budget, these will last if you take really good care. Medium heat, never metal tools and rub oil a bit for storage.

What are they using for non-stick properties?

Aluminum/PFOA-, lead and cadmium-free non-stick interior is what is stated; so I assume these have zero teflon coating? That stuff is a toxic mess.

Watch the 2019 movie Dark Waters and you'll never use another PFOA product again.
It says PFOA free

Too lazy to fill out the form? Or too cheap to buy a stamp?

What kind of pan do you recommend? Need to get one
Not the one in this deal but I recommend this Tfal skillet:
https://www.t-falusa.com/Cookware...%26%2bpans
I've been using it for about 6 months now and it is a solid performer. I've used it maybe 50 times and it still looks brand new.
I see a lot of reviews about the non-stick surface wearing off but mine is like new, as I said. I suspect the people that are having issues are not cleaning the pan properly (using abrasives) and maybe even filling it with soap and water while it's still hot.

Um, this is Slickdeals. Many of us have made money by buying stuff. If you're afraid of rebates, you probably should not be on a deals forum. Needlepoint may be more your speed.
