Pioneer Home USA via Newegg[newegg.com] has Pioneer SP-C22 Andrew Jones Designed Center Channel Speaker (Single) $59 on sale for $59. Shipping is free.
I have not listened to this personally but have been told that this is the weakest link in the pioneer AJ speakers and that you should look elsewhere for a center.
I have this and surprised how good it sounded for the price......close to my Infinity Primus PC351 and sounded better than my Definitive Tech Procenter 1000.
I don't know anything about audio, This center + 2 bookshelf speakers for $138 + some future Subwoofer = a good set up for my computer to watch movies/music? Is it better if I just pick up a soundbar? Thanks.

If you can find the first generation of this center pioneer speaker, that would be the one to get. They have bigger drivers and sound clearer.

What do you mean first generation? These are the Andrew Jones set, is there a 1st gen Andrew Jones set?
Also, someone said this is the weakest link and we should look elsewhere.
i completely willing to look elsewhere, but i thought the idea was to match the set, i have all of the other pieces, except the center. I am using some 2in drivers with 0.5inch tweeter Infinity center speaker. Cost me like $50 but came with 2 small surrounds at the time, that helped me get started.
I would ofcourse love to splurge on a center, but my budget is about sub $150 in my mind for a center channel. Unless there is some perfectly matched center that audio people would consider "matched" with the set, but costs like $200+. i would have to think about it but i would love to hear any suggestion, since im told its pretty important to match the entire set.
running 5.1.2 at the moment, looking to go 5.1.4 in the near future as well.
I have this center, towers speakers and surround rears for 5 years now. NO issues sound is good the neighbors can hear it across the street This setup is good the sub had bad reviews and i went with a different one. They have been on sale a few different times. Also look at the size some has said they are a little bulky compared to some others.

You will need a amplifier/receiver. For computer use, your better choice is a pair of active bookshelf speakers and subwoofer.

For me I kinda agree with the other poster here. I have the complete Pioneer seb for 4 years and center is definitely the weakest link. The sub could be better but it works of if you are able to find that sweet spot !

Relevant: I own this (from the same deal thru Newegg), it's made dialogue way clearer and I'm happy with my purchase. For $59 it's fantastic.
